@Venge Funfact
If you have Czech blood at all in you, you are closely related to the polish.
The founders of the original kingdoms of Poland and Bohemia (modern Czech republic) were brothers.
Or you can be like my cousin and have a ethnicity question since her family is from Cape verde which is an island off of Africa but inhabited mainly (and firstly) by europeans. |

@Nocaff
Was your family one of the ones who in ww2 moved from Poland to the British Isles to escape the German occupation?
I'd imagine the Cypriot could be quite random. However perhaps it was attained back when moldavia was a vassal of Poland and sat on the coast of the black Sea with a immigrant family in the 1400s. |

@Blox
Pure-Mexican or Mestizo?
You never know if you have a bit of spanish,Castilian, aragonese, or cape Verden in you.
Although your bloodline probably comes from the aztecs or xius depending on what part of mexico you are from. |

Nah, my dad is just a slob who met my mum through her friend getting married to my uncle, some time in the 80's. However, my Cypriot family were effected by that Turkish civil war thing with them that made them leave their homes to relocate south? |

@no
Cyprus is in the Mediterranean, they'd go into some north African country if they headed south and all of those nations at the time would have been somewhat involved.
They could have headed north into poland however. |

No, they just headed to the south of cyprus, Larnaca. No Africa was involved :/
Then my Cypriot grandfather (RIP) left to go to England, met my grandma and they had my mother. Then my dad came and he and her made me! :D |

| Also, heading north wasnt an option because that is where turkey is and they were claiming ownership over the island but Greece disagreed so they had a fight and then Turkey ended up abandoning alot of the north part of Cyprus, which is closed off now. Ive been to Nicosia which is as far north as you can go in Cyprus. It actually gets to a point where you need a passport to walk all the way down the street. So yeah. |

Wow that's a really unexpected route! Both the polish and some Cypriot were crusaders. If your religious you can look at stuff about crusader knights and think that they were your ancestors! |
