Hello, I've made this handbook so that people know exactly what roles do what. This ensures that no-one oversteps their rank and tries to seize power. ----------------------------------- National Assembly: This is the lower house, this is the equivalent of the "House of Commons" in the United Kingdom. The National Assembly create laws which then go up the ladder and will hopefully be passed. --- Senate: This is the upper house, this is the equivalent of the "House of Lords" in the United Kingdom. The Senate are in-charge of passing new laws, or changing certain laws to suit the constant developing world around them. --- Cabinet: The cabinet are the collection of ministers, they are basically the Presidents advisers. They have the power to cut/limit membership into certain branches they control. --- Minister of Law and Public Safety: This minister controls branches such as the police force. He has the ability to arm the police with more powerful weapons or armored trucks should civil unrest get out of control.
Minister of Intelligence: This minister controls the Ministry of Intelligence. The Ministry are in-charge of ensuring that all spies are turned away and that government secrets are kept secret.
Minister of Defense: This minister indirectly controls the armed forces. Compared to what a-lot of people think, the Minister of Defense can only replace the Field Marshal (The person who actually leads and trains the army). He can open new army branches and regiments, as-well as open branches such as the reserve army, but can not directly control troops.
Minister of Transport: This minister is in-charge of all public transport. An example is publicly/governmental owned taxis or a bus. They can not control private companies, an example is if he tried to control "Tom's Ticking Taxis".
Minister of Education: This minister is in-charge of making sure that each high ranking official has the right knowledge to carry out their job. Should someone not be capable to hold the job, or do it properly. The the minister of education can do a number of things. He can speak to the minister/officer in-charge of him and request he's replaced. Or he can offer private schooling, in the form of in-game training/learning.
Minister of Foreign Affairs: This ministers job is to make sure that foreign relations are maintained with other nations. His job is also to end or start wars with the Presidents Permission.
Note: More minister positions may be added if new branches open. Minister positions can be taken away or even scrapped/merged fully. --- Prime Minister: The prime ministers job is quite broad. The prime ministers job is to deal with minor issues. An example is if the Chief of Police and the Field Marshal of the Army kept shooting at each other or abuse of power. He is also in-charge of recommending ministers from the national assembly/senate to the president. --- President: The presidents job is to keep everything in running order. Unlike what most people thing, the president is not voted in. Rather is a president until death then a new one can get voted in. Note that the prime minister should always be contacted first. The president is the only one who can declare a war or declare peace. ----------------------------------- Signed President OfficerStutter 26/07/2015 - ??/??/???? |
