I am trying this on both browsers of mine (Chrome and IE). I tried what they suggested which was to delete temporary internet files and/or add exception to firewall then install, but on IE: It opens another tab and does the same thing over. Chrome: Installs and either opens the Player or another tab. When I am in Player and try to play a game it gives me an error message and would look as if game is loading, but it isn't and doesn't load at all. This is really annoying and is reducing my chances of playing ROBLOX on this computer and my only personal laptop.
I'm gonna find the error message from a topic that I started some time ago earlier this month and post it soon. |

So I actually manage to finally delete the appdata ROBLOX folder. This was after I uninstalled ROBLOX Player and Studio.
I reinstalled ROBLOX thus creating a newly created Program Files ROBLOX folder and a ROBLOX folder in local of appdata.
I installed it from IE, but when it was finished it opened a new window in IE and pressed play, it told me to install it (AGAIN!)
I uninstalled it and tried installing it from Chrome, but it did the same thing by opening a new window in IE. When I press ROBLOX Player from my desktop it takes me to IE. |

| Make sure you have set Google Chrome as the default browser. Or just simply go to Chrome and type Roblox.com. I always do that. |

| This is probably a dumb question to ask, but, have you restarted your computer? |

I set chrome as default browser, unistalled ROBLOX, cleared the browsing data, restarted computer, installed ROBLOX, and now it is doing the same exact thing as IE did. Everytime I try to play a game, it tells me to install it and once I do it opens a new Chrome tab and does the same thing over and over and over again!
It says "Could not load Roblox Launcher Plugin." <- I already looked this up and that is why I uninstalled Roblox and cleared the browsing data... |

| I have seen many cases of the above ^^^. I was just wondering if there is a fix or a temp fix that I could use. |

I believe I got rid of the 'update' reference null bug. It's just the problem I am having when I open ROBLOX Player, it just opens a new tab of my default browser that when I try to play a game it tells to install ROBLOX. And when I do, it opens ANOTHER tab and makes me install it OVER AND OVER again!
My younger brother has an identical laptop and hasn't been playing ROBLOX on it lately, so whenever I need to or feel like it I can ask to get on his laptop. |

| From now on, I will be using my brother's computer to play the games on Roblox. I will use my computer to run Roblox studio. |

Try this.
Go on ROBLOX Studio. Go on the games section. Try it from there.
