We have recently instated "Crew Limits" to ships as to avoid overcrowded ships.
The limits are as such:
A Brig is to be captained by a Lieutenant with a Midshipman,Boatswain, or Boatswain's Mate as his 2nd In command. It is also to have 2 ratings as gunners. Total of 3 Sailors not including the Captain.
A Sloop of War is to be captained by a Master and Commander with a Lieutenant as his 2ic. It is to have a Gunner+ as it's gunnery commander, 2 ratings as it's gunners, and 1 Seaman+ as a reserve Gunner. Total of 5 Sailors not including the Captain.
A Frigate is to be captained by a Post-Captain, with a Lieutenant as his 2ic, One Midshipman (also considered the 3ic), A Bosun/Bosun's Mate, a Gunner as a Gunnery commander, 2 ratings as gunners, and 2 Seamen as reserve gunners. Total of 8 sailors not including the Captain.
A Third Rate SOTL is to be captained by a Post-Captain+, with a Lieutenant as his 2ic, another as his 3ic, A Midshipman (4ic), A Bosun/Bosun's Mate, A Gunner+ as Gunnery Commander, 2 ratings as gunners, and 3 seamen as reserve gunners. Total of 10 Sailors, not including the Captain.
Failure to follow these Crew Limits will result in crew transferring. If these Crew Limits are continuously broken with warning, a rank suspension will be given to the Captain.
