| This isn't really a fantastic idea, and if this were implimented not many players would be able to do this. But imagine moving decals on shirts. People could have glowing scifi gear or flashing lights with actual dynamic lighting. Roblox could add templates for this as well for players that can't make their own animated/dynamic unique thing on their clothing. This idea literally just came to my head so cut me some slack here if it sounds like I'm not getting my point across too well. Imagine an army shirt, like any other, except this one has a red painted light that is supposed to beep in reality, like a radio communicator or something. And the light actually flashes and creates small blinks of red lighting in dark areas. I think roblox should make their own custom clothing studio, rather than people using paint or paint.net to edit clothing. So that on your 3d shirt template, you can toggle the lighting functions on and off, or maybe it wouldn't even be lighting. Somebody wants a moving nyan cat on their shirt, they can make it happen. I'm not suggesting roblox adds sound though, that would be terrible. Anyway, in the template it would be kind of like creating a regular shirt, but it would have these extra tools for the lighting, like you highlight a certain area and click the color of the lighting you'd want for the area and it would make it happen. This would be fantastic for tactical gear like I kind of stated earlier. Does anybody else think this would be a very cool feature if roblox did this? Of course it would take some time to perfect, but I'd be willing to wait for something that cool. If you disagree please tell me why, I'd like to see what people think of this idea. |

| I'd say its a good idea. Although some clothes would trump stealth. |

| A game could have an option where they don't allow shirts or pants with the lighting :D |

| Well, we all have different opinions. Me? I kind of have the mind of a 10 year old when it comes to clothing, so maybe you're right. But I still think this would work for tactical clothing or scifi clothing. Just for that extra little effect/tint. Big things are just made out of little things. |

I like the concept, but right now this is at a suggestion where there's too many things to be done before it can be brought out of the suggestion phase.
Too many fixes to add for problems like unfair disadvantages, possible abusuals (seizure clothing here we come!), and too much work in general so far to make it happen for ROBLOX not only for making it happen (extra moderation, etc.) but to work out the kinks to your own suggestion, something that you need to do yourself.
Half-support. |

| Well, I got this idea suddenly and felt like it had to be released from me because I was extremely excited. I have a tendency where I like to say things right when it comes to my mind to make sure it's not forgotten if it's absolutely perfect. And this is absolutely perfect to me. |

| And now in a year when roblox is finally ready for this stuff I'll have forgotten, and this forum will have been forgotten most likely. Now I'm sad. ;_;. |

| GIF clothes... That may be a good idea but it may lag other people's device, like mine. |

@Chronomaton - "Well, I got this idea suddenly and felt like it had to be released from me because I was extremely excited. A few suggestions to add-on to your suggestions:
1. Animated Shirts Category 2. Animated Pants Category 4. (Like you mentioned before) An option for games NOT to have Animated Clothing 5. A preview button of some sort to see what the animation of a, say, a.. um.. pair of pants with glow sticks in the pockets?!? (I ran out of ideas) |

I just thought of a way to expand on this idea. Imagine a futuristic cryo-suit or power-armor. And you join a game, and you get to see these dark blue streaks power up to a cyan blue energy fueled color. But, but but, not only that, like I said about gifs earlier, maybe if you have like a shirt that has like a hole in it that lets out steam or something, I don't know, just an example: So the suit has smoke particles come out of the painted on hole. And, obviously this could be abused in many ways, so creators of games can set limitations. This could also give developers advantages with morphs too! Take a look at Pinewood Labs or whatever the game's name is, there's a place in the game where there are hazmat suit morphs. Let's say the creator decides to get a little creative with the shirt and wants to make it pulsate green or red or some cool color.
Imagine the possibilities for detail. Shading could even be used for this. Looped shading gifs, I don't know if that makes sense. But do you kind of understand what I'm saying/typing? Or let's say you want to wear a Tony Stark outfit, and you want that cool fusion coil thing in his heart to pulsate blue through his shirt, then use a gif and make it loop. And maybe even highlight that area and make it generate a faint faded blue light from under the shirt! |

| Nonsense. It'll be like looking at a decal. Kind of. And if it is laggy, it'll be just about as laggy as roblox always is on your device. |

| Roblox is a gigantic ultra-game, so I'm sure one moving picture model shouldn't lag your PC/phone any more than regular roblox does. |

Support! I love the idea with the "red flashing light w/ dynamic lighting."
Can't wait for implementation. |
