wes morgan, adrian mariappa, jobi mcanuff, rodolph austin, gareth mcleary, simon dawkins and michael hector all play in the top 2 tiers of english football. all of those players (bar austin and hector) all have premier league experience as well.
tell me again how jamaica are inferior?

"because they were outplayed by the USA aside from 7 minutes."
good teams absorb pressure don't they?
"Because they are"
except you haven't provided any evidence as to why they are when i have stated otherwise with evidence.

"the better team sets the pace and flow"
that would mean west brom and spurs are both better than chelsea and that stoke are a top 5 side.

Because I don't need to It should be heavily obvious to anyone who watches remotely any bit of CONCACAF that a team that struggles against Canada, El Salvador, and Costa Rica isn't as good as Mexico or the USA.
Also, those "premier league" players haven't made a god damn difference. Every single player that has scored for Jamaica in the knockout round is an MLS player. Their best player (Giles Barnes) plays for my hometown club. |

Maybe Jamaica is just starting to actually be competent and took advantage of not the best of tournaments for the US. |

except costa rica are actually good, japan drew against singapore and greece lost to the faroe islands so this is a mute argument.

yeah i know wes morgan, michael hector and adrian marriapa are all going to jump from defence to be the front 3 for jamaica in a heartbeat this isn't a stupid argument whatsoever.

"except costa rica are actually good" -------------------------------------------- Seriously?
Seriouslyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?
Just because they had a good WC run doesn't mean they're good. That only means Pinto is an OP manager. Also, Italy and England had such awful playing it wasn't very surprising.
Otherwise, Costa Rica's biggest success is once beating Mexico in the Azteca, aaaall the way back in 2001. |

Costa Rica aren't good you moron. They haven't won a single game in 2015, and you don't watch any games from this region. They were dominated by El Salvador (who is missing half of their national team due to being suspended for match-fixing), and Trinidad & Tobago
"yeah i know wes morgan, michael hector and adrian marriapa are all going to jump from defence to be the front 3 for jamaica in a heartbeat this isn't a stupid argument whatsoever."
The only player that has performed well for Jamaica here is Wes Morgan. Michael Hector and Adrian Mariappa have been inconsistent and have struggled to form chemistry with their teammates since they've rarely ever played with each other before a year ago. Get a grip.

yeah because navas, campbell, ruiz, oviedo, oscar duarte and celso borges are all bad players.
if pinto was so op why did honduras not even get to the quarter finals this tournament? costa rica are a good side and admittedly should be facing panama in the semis.

The only reason the 0-0 was kept was because of Vela's mediocrity.
And Costa Rica aren't good. They're overrated and barely got out of their group without a win. |

woah don't get ahead of yourself there.
Mexico decisively outplayed Costa Rica, if Vela wasn't complete crap at finishing it would be 2-0 at the least. And even without the penalty call, who knows what would happen in the penalty shootout. |

| Greece isn't good, they only got through because Cote d'Ivoire got cheated and because Japan wasn't performing stellarly. |

"yeah because navas, campbell, ruiz, oviedo, oscar duarte and celso borges are all bad players."
Call me when they can beat players that play in El Salvador's local league and when they don't lose to Trinidadian US college players
Hell, call me when they actually win a damn game in this calendar year
"if pinto was so op why did honduras not even get to the quarter finals this tournament? costa rica are a good side and admittedly should be facing panama in the semis."
Because Honduras sucks ass too and did way before Pinto ever took over Not to mention they overhauled their team before the tournament and left out all the MLS and European based players in favor of ones from the Honduran league
Please stop talking, you have no clue about what you're saying

"yeah because uruguay, italy, england, greece and the netherlands"
Uruguay had to get into the World Cup via a playoff. Italy is the most inconsistent nation ever. England is England. Greece literally can't score more than 1 goal per game, not even going to mention how they are doing currently in Euro qualifiers. Netherlands dominated the match. Rightfully won in penalties. |
