if you don't have a gaming pc and xbone/ps4, get one
but if you have all three or two
get the alienware 13 just because of the external gpu adapter
i don't know if the asus has one |

| Look, if you NEED a gaming laptop, (like you frequently do LAN parties or something else like that) MSI has your number. They're pretty A-plus. Build a computer. If your parents are divorced / something like that, build a mini ITX computer. An M-ITX PC is roughly the size of a console, and can be carried easily. If you need it, I can give you some builds. |

| oh yeah, and @rose: MSI has a GPU adapter, and they also have the advantage of not being sketchy and horrible |

I know for a fact that the Alienware 13 has no disc or whatever you call it where you put discs in.

if I get a desktop (its more powerful than a laptop I guess??) everyone in my family will use it like, I’m typing this on a Mac. any computer is a upgrade from a Mac.

Fair point. I had that same problem, but as long as you spend the money, unless your family SUCKS, you should be allowed to decide how it's used. if you AREN'T purchasing it for yourself, I highly recommend either ASUS, MSI, or Gigabyte, depending on your price range.
NEVER SHOP BY BRAND, THOUGH. Some brands don't deserve to ever be bought, though, like Zotac (because exploding 750 ti's) or Kingston (because they are sketchy AF) |
