| You'll have to Replace ur PC in a year. After a year, 970 Won't Run anything in higgh let alone max anything. Well it already cant. Keep this in mind... If that's Ok with you. Then sure. |

tnt KINDA has a point my gpu will probably last me 2-3, but my CPU will need upgrading very soon. I'm thinking of saving to get an 15 or something next year

| actually, i've been browsing /r/buildapc, and perhaps you might consider getting a used R9 290/290x and a 4690k instead of a 970? |

I'd much rather you get a R9 290 for $270 and get an i5 than deal with the FX 6300. Performance in modern games is lower than my i3-4370 and in older games you will be much worse off.
The R9 290 is more or less just as fast as the GTX 970 but is $50 cheaper. |
