Events are limited to a number of places, as only one server will be up for that event. The minimum limit comes to about 40 - 50. This makes space for the Company HQ host, and 2 Squads for each platoon.
In order for at least 1 Squad to be put into the application they need to have 1 complete team that is able to attend.
Applying for an event as a reservist is found after the Event Application example.
Only the Platoon Leader can apply for Events. How they do that is as followed:
Event Application
Platoon: -- Simple one, Which platoon you belong to. Squad Team(s) that is/are available: -- The Squads teams that are available to attend Squad HQ Affiliates: - The Squad HQ members attending ie. Squad Leader, and Squad Medic Squad Leader Connection: -- What Squad Team they will be moving with Squad Medic Connection: -- What Squad Team they will be moving with Platoon HQ Affiliates:-- The Platoon HQ members attending ie. Platoon Leader, Platoon Sergeant, Platoon Medic. Platoon Leader Connection: -- What Squad Team he will be moving with Platoon Sergeant Connection: -- What Squad Team he will be moving with Platoon Medic Connection: -- What Squad Team he will be moving with
- Example -
Platoon: 1 Squad Team(s) that is/are available: 1-2-A, 1-3-B Squad HQ Affiliates: SquadLeader1, SquadMedic1 Squad Leader connection: 1-2-A Squad Medic Connection: 1-3-B Platoon HQ Affiliates: PlatoonLeader1, PlatoonMedic1 Platoon Leader Connection: 1-3-B Platoon Medic Connection: 1-2-A
Squad and Platoon HQ members must be attached to one of the attending teams. For they will be on the playing field as well as their units.
In some cases some applications will be altered so that we can get both Platoons having at least 2 Squad teams at the event.
-Applying for an event as a reservist-
Being a reservist does not mean you can not attend the event. It is still possible to attend the event should someone fail to show up or if a the Company HQ believes that more numbers need to be added to the field.
All that is necessary is for the reservist to send an application to the Company HQ member hosting the event saying the following:
Reservist available for event
That reservist will then be put into the event record. That reservist must be however easy to contact and online when the event is taking place.
In addition a response to the reservist application may say: You have been assigned to Platoon Number - Squad Number - Team Letter.
- Disclaimer -
Platoon Leader should ask their Squad members if they're available before submitting an application for an event.
If a Platoon Leader fails to apply for at least 2 events during a week, they will be replaced with the Platoon Sergeant. It is not fair for those within the Platoon to not be able to attend an event because the Platoon Leader didn't care.
All applicants who are accepted are placed into a separate document. Anyone attending the event without being on that list will be refused entry into future events.
In order for a team to be considered available, the following members need to be available: Team Leader, Automatic Rifleman, Rifleman, Grenadier.
The Squad Leader also needs to be available in order for the team to qualify as an applicant.
Failure to attend the event after being applied the reservist who replaces the non attending applicant will be given that applicants position.
- Note -
Some of the disclaimers seem rather cruel, however in order for the MRU events to run smoothly there needs to be a fully attending unit. It is not fair for everybody if someone fails to show up.
