| I only live with one parent. I wish my mom would have given me a heads up when I was disinterested in school and said something along the lines of "we live in a capitalist society, this means that everyone is competing for resources. If you don't succeed academically, it is statistically probable that you are going to end up working in menial labor for scraps." But my parent was too busy trying to provide for my two siblings and me to have the motivation to make sure we were academically engaged. |

not really
if you cant push yourself to do something then why bother tbh
in this world there is people who are bound to be poor and some who are bound to be wealthy
both opportunity and abilities affect your outcome
also you wont have someone babysitting you all your life, sadly in this world we are born alone and we'll die alone |

capitalism doesn't make sense. i mean the amount of debt in the world is greater than every item in the world, and that's just dumb, excuse the ableism.
also interest doesn't make any sense, why make someone pay more for something so that they can't pay it back all the way? that's just even more ignorant!
and also look at the banks! they use peoples debt as their money!!!
it's a very broke system. |

| I am not asking for a parent that watches me do my homework and makes sure I get all the questions right. I am talking about a parent that reminds you what is at stake when you ignore your education, the most important method of economic mobility. |

| All of those are examples of individuals with capital attempting to earn revenue off of their excess capital. You pay a loan with interest because a monetary institution needs incentive to risk his money in your hands. We have debt because you must borrow from a monetary institution to pay for large expenses that exceed your savings. All of those examples are logical when viewed from the perspective of the capitalists who run society. |

| And the reason our economic system persists is that those who are successful under capitalism make the rules. Anyone who does not participate in capitalism is broke and powerless. |
