I noticed people with lag issues in my game. I do apologize for that. If I use the universe feature it would cut down on lag. Should I? It would be of a ship sailing to another island http://www.roblox.com/games/271135318/Soon-to-be-Fishing-game |

If you ask me, universes are usually poorly received.
You seem to be putting a lot of effort into your new game and I've love to see it succeed, so if you'd like my advice, I would GREATLY reduce the use of decals/textures in your game. This, and you should honestly reduce the grass "detail" as ROBLOX is simply not ready for that yet.
There are plenty ways to make your game look nice and HD without overusing textures and making HD grass! You should take a look at some other player's builds for inspiration in this matter. |

| I really need to make the water realistic, it is just hard to do. Like the hardest thing to do. (no sarcasm, literal truth) |

If you're dead set on making an extremely complicated game, here are some other more technical bits of advice.
For one, you're going to want to make sure you look into this: http://wiki.roblox.com/index.php?title=Custom_particles as it could be useful even for things like grass.
Secondly, if you're going to be making an extremely detailed game to market to the average user, you're going to need to account for your general computer. You can manage this by coding your extra details into the client, only to present them on higher graphics levels. Here are some things to help you with this:
1. Preloading textures can seriously reduce client lag caused by them. http://wiki.roblox.com/index.php?title=API:Class/ContentProvider http://wiki.roblox.com/index.php?title=API:Class/ContentProvider/Preload
2. Parenting parts to "CurrentCamera" (only accessible through client scripts) will allow you to add extra detail to people with higher graphic settings.
3. Detecting the user's graphic settings. Unfortunately, I don't seem to remember how you do this, so I've posted this thread for you. http://www.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=167955940 Of course, if I was wrong and there's no way to do so, there's always the classic alternative of having your own "Graphics Quality" setting in your game.
I can tell you're working hard to learn, and I know it can be challenging, best of luck! |

Also, if you are indeed new to ROBLOX, granted you ever get so far as to complete your game, this guide I wrote will help you with making it a success. (Specifically focusing for you on the marketing and profiting sections)

I'd highly suggest working with an engine like Unity and Unreal 4, and not ROBLOX.
ROBLOX overall is just the worst platform to build on if you're looking for polish and features.
