Everytime I insert a model into my place, it's floating 0.1 studs above the baseplate or any surface I put it onto and it won't stick to the surface of the base when I drag it around. I need to move down 0.1 studs everytime I insert a model. Help!

I'm sorry but I don't know if that is possible to do it, are you on a baseplate or on flat terrain/smooth terrain?

It's just flat baseplate. I'm an experienced builder, and this problem started happening after some updates this year.

What updates do you think this was? I may need some more information to help you. If it was a bad update, then good lord.
