Build a PC.
Here's a link to a build that might run GTA 5 at low-mid settings.

If you don't need the laptop for portability (One frequent reason to need a "gaming laptop" is because of divorced parents; an M-ITX PC is a lot more portable than a standard ATX mid PC), might I suggest a M-ITX PC?

A couple FAQs (so you don't have to argue with me)
"But Matt! I don't have the time/expertise/one friend or relative who builds PCs!"
You can pay NCIX.us another 50$ for a 3-year all parts warranty and assembly if you so choose. That'll also mean being at the mercy of NCIX's individual part prices, which may be a bit pricier.
"I want a laptop so I can go between two houses!"
see above
If you have any questions, ask them. |

yeah that sounded dumb
what i meant is whenever said "recommend me a laptop to X" and someone responds "build a PC that will blow that laptop out of the water" there's always a lengthy, boring series of exchanges that generally ends when someone suggests something offensively stupid (ideally the thing OP wants to hear) or when OP stops paying attention to the thread |
