On this game. On SecretBuilders retextures of a hat are the same price but on ROBLOX a rexture is usually more expensive. For example the standard shaggy is 50TIX then all of a sudden the pink shaggy is at an astronomical price. What the hell? They're the same thing, it's just colored differently. This is racism? All hats should be treated equally!

Same mesh. It's like saying a white person isn't the same as a black person. Is that what you're saying? Why does it have to be limited? It's the same mesh just a different color.

Well limiteds are released in smaller amounts than regular hats (assuming the regular hats in question are not insanely expensive or are not very popular), so no wonder they are more valuable. And besides, with limiteds, most people want as much profit as possible. Unless price wars kill it or there is an enormous abundance of copies sold, the limited is sure to be rather valuable.

Well, humans create racism. I'm human. Isn't this an example of racism? Just because of color they have a different value...

@kirby0189 That didn't answer my question that's just given me brief background information of Limiteds and the use of them.

@TheStudentRoom Well you are right in that I gave the background, but it's true for retextures too.
Let's use that shaggy example again. The regular Shaggy has a set price of 50 tix. It will not change unless the mods decide to raise or lower it, but that's generally rare. For the Pink Shaggy, people who bought it will want a lot of profit. They take advantage of the lack of a price floor or ceiling, and try to sell it for as much as possible.
Make more sense?

@kirby0189 I still don't get it. What is so special about a Pink shaggy? It's the same thing as a black one. What is the difference between them apart from the color? Forget the price tags, why can't Pink Shaggy be the same as the black shaggy. Let's treat all items equal because that's right and just.

@TheStudentRoom OK, think of it this way. You own a Pink Shaggy, Would you: A. Sell it for the equivalent of 50 tix and lose tons of robux? B. Sell it for around the RAP to make profit? C. Sell it above the RAP and wait for the price to rise, thus gaining more profit? D. Order a sofa and an expensive haircut?
