Where is your proof he isn't? I'd like to see that?
Seriously. Shut up your bait is crap. |

I don't need to provide proof. If you know anything you'd know the burden of proof is the one making the positive claim. Which are the Christians. If they can't provide proof then I have no reason to believe his existence. |

| If atheism is true, then our minds are reducible to physics. Since physics is fundamentally deterministic, we have no free will. Ergo, I have no 'choice' whether to adopt atheism or not, and you're wasting your time by trying to convince me of anything. |

You need proof to claim someone not real. You have no proof, so you are therefore wrong.
I'm not saying there is much proof he is but whatever. |

You do have a choice. We have a conscious for a reason. Sure, we are bound by the laws of this Earth, but anything under those laws goes. |

Again, the burden of proof is on the one making the positive claim. If I said a giant flying invisible teapot orbited earth, nobody would believe me until I proved it. Thus everybody would believe it doesn't exist until proven. It would be illogical for me to tell them to disprove it. |

@Fearless Whilst I agree there is no proof in place that a god does exist or that there is a creator that is omniscient or omnipotent or omnipresent or has made any interactions with us, and I agree it is most likely correct that there is no creator or higher power, I would like to share with you two philisophical razors:
Occam's Razor: Choose whichever option takes the least amount of assumption. Adler's Razor (Jokingly: Newton's Flaming Laser Sword): If something cannot be tested, then it is not worth debating.
These point towards agnosticism, rather than atheism. Whilst I do agree that all "religious proof" is complete bs, until we have the best technology possible to confirm that the universe can collapse on itself to cause a singularity. (I don't know if this can be tested via modern supercomputers, can it? Even then you'd have to make an INSANE physics engine.)
TL;DR: Ironically logic points away from atheism and towards agnosticism, but not in the "lost" kind of way; but someone who does not make assumptions towards either end. Neither side can prove their arguments and it is not worth debating who is right, as neither can give any definitive proof. |

@fearless Then some people would believe that a flying teapot orbits the earth. |

It's not terrible. Burden of proof is a perfectly acceptable logical concept. |
