| DF is a sinleplayer game .-. There are no "Worldwide Leaderboards" in games I play other than CS:GO and I can't possibly get more points than someone Who Plays 24/7 even Though I am much better. It has to do With time you sacrifice not skill. |

What. I was just wanting to play with people and tnt came and stated a flame war. gg.
tnt, Rise of Nations is not a casual game for your information, it can be casual, but also hardcore because there is a difficulty of a CPU that gets x2 resources while you get 1/2 resources.
Oh and it plays at maximum efficiency and stacks as there are more, so if there are two you get 1/4 resources and each of them gets x2 resources.
It's a CPU recommended as a 1-on-1 sparring partner for tournament players, should be a breeze for your mad skills, right? . . .I'm sorry, I just had too, it's too funny.
Oh and even more info guys, RoN:EE features online play (with steam accounts), so no port-forwarding or additional accounts needed. |

TL;DR most of it.
A Game does not Stop Being casual because you turned up the Difficulty Slider. It's about the Mechanics and all not just the Difficulty. |

@tnt, Oh, so if a game has an Easy difficulty it's instantly casual. Okay. |

| I just said "It's about the Mechanics and all not just the Difficulty". I hope you know what "Game Mechanics" mean. |

@stealth
nah, tnt has gotten it into his thick skull that somehow "obscure, complex and unnecessarily numerous control mechanics === better game"
also, who wants to bet that his perfection in a game is "the ability to consistently beat the AI"

| They're "obscure" Because your average casual "Gamer" aren't up there in the Level to understand Them. It's about intelligence. |

@tnt, So if I make a game which is extremely gimmicky and has really bad controls, it's hard, not unfair. Alright then.
@Lord, lol.
It might be actually, prepare for the "no I win Every tournament In PvP." reply. |

| I Didn't say that so Idk where you got that from. I'm Saying the games I frequently play are Obscure because they demand a Higher Amount of intelligence and More time to Devote than average games. |

so they aren't for you then, given your shown level of intelligence

Okay, I think the intelligence of the room is dropping. And it's reaching dangerous levels.
Can we just get back to the actual, constructive conversation? Like does anyone want to play RoN? |
