The GTA or any open world police knowing exactly where you are and the game trying to hide the fact it is cheating by making the police look confused until they go exactly where you are.

Even if the police lose you when you are in a plane, and you go all the way to the other side of the map to hide in a bush, and then the rozzers roll up and "check" the exact bush you are in.

there's bound to be a place where you landed or jumped out of the plane and by that time you did run to the bush, someone would've called the cops saying someone just bailed from a moving aircraft |

What about Watchdogs then, the Police Zooms across streets but when they pass you, they slow down and pretend they are checking. Once they passed the alley way you are in, they start zooming again.

it's probably supposed to simulate that the police are relying on the ctOS to find a suspect |

multi form boss battles
exploding barrels
QTEs
cutscene incompetence (yes, tv tropes)
meaning you're character is able to do impressive feats midst gameplay but can't do anything in cutscenes so the plot can be advanced with some form of problem
can't think of anything else |

it is easier to make games in 8-bit, yeah, but that's not the only reason people do it
sometimes pixelated graphics end up looking better than non-pixelated graphics
it's why i liked the original ace attorney trilogy's art style over the newer games, it's why i liked the fire emblem gba art over awakening and shadow dragon
also, some games wouldn't feel the same if they didn't have pixelated graphics, i.e shovel knight
there's just a sort of charm that they have... |

how a player characters acts in gameplay vs cutscenes ex: the dude from gta IV who moved to liberty city to escape the killings and violence *blows up cops with a rocket launcher*
or
how the good guy always wins for once, i want a game where in the end you realize it's all a setup or something and you die |
