although that's ugly shortcutted crap. I prefer the traditional (and the old default text) print ("Hello World!")

in my case it's just self-teaching if i don't know something i play around until i know it ripping apart other scripts is how i learned and how i'll continue learning
just taught myself xml from scratch and coded a custom civ5 leader and civilization from scratch within 24 hours of first touching xml

It's more to programming in general. no printing necessary because this is how you print things without an engine
