I play league play on Black Ops 2, and I'm really good. I'm currently top 20 in Platinum division and slowly trying to get to Masters. Anyways, I wanna start CS: GO competitive, but I have a 360 (not as good for competitive CS: GO) and I'm alright at the game. Can anyone tell me how exactly ranking and stuff works? And also some tips please? |

If you want to play CS:GO competitive don't do it on console. The game is insanely easy to run on PC (you don't need anything remotely close to a gaming pc)
The ranking goes from silvers (1,2,3,4,elite,master elite) then to nova (nova 1,2,3,master) then to master guardian (1,2,elite), distinguished) to eagle(eagle, eagle master) to finally supreme master first class, and ending on global elite
The game is nothing like call of duty. If you are good at call of duty don't expect to start of good at CS:GO |

In my opinion, CS:GO is better on PC. The game doesn't take that much to run.
Since you play CoD, you may find it hard to kill someone. Look into some videos on YouTube about spray patterns, sensitivity, and call outs and so forth. They will help, trust me.
I wish you luck with everything :)

| Warowl has a good set of tutorials. Here's a guide on steam that I found incredibly useful http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=302540252 |
