"I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment." ~ 1 Corinthians 1:10
Wouldn't the above appeal to ALL denominations and churches as it is part of Christian Canon? Then why stray from one mainstream church to form others and then those form others, and so on?

| This is why I don't consider myself to belong to any one denomination. I follow the Bible, not a denomination. |

I understand denominations as different ways of praising and acknowledging God. And that's okay. But, we all believe in and follow the same God, so I wouldn't consider Christians to be absolutely divided. |

i thought there were multiple bibles
or is there just books in a series of the bible
someone explain christianity to me
