| it shouldn't be actually, since alcohol harms your brain development, and your brain doesn't stop developing until you're 25 |

a lot of things harm your brain development and a lot of things don't stimulate it as well which kills brain cells
everything in moderation

unpopular opinion: alcohol should have some sort of restriction. (not talking about a ban)

Smoking Cigs is horrible. The next generation will imo kill the cig industry.

what does that have to do with anything? they're expected to follow the law wherever they're stationed. in some places, 18 year olds in the Army can drink, and in other places like Iraq, nobody can drink at all, regardless of if you're 50 or 18

@muddy
you realize that the drinking age being 21 hasn't stopped teens from getting drinks ever. high school parties still happen. university parties still happen. it's not stopping anything |

| And by the way, alcohol and soldiers (some of which are in the army because they're too stupid/desperate to be anywhere else) combined with guns don't really mix too well |

| as for smoking, it should be heavily restricted. i know in the states it's hella cheap and you can see the packaging. canada makes stores hide it behind shelves, and put graphic warnings on like 75% of the packaging |

and three year's difference won't change that. alc0h0l makes you stupid, regardless if you're 100 or 12. maybe we should have programs that fully teach people the dangers of it and how to use it responsibly rather than restrict it and pretend it's solving the problem |
