One Frostarian To Another! -

Be Hyped for the Awards Ceremony is ever so close, but let the fresh memory of Biscuits make you feel sad. In the epic fight for dominance both the Medical Side and Intelligence side call a truce for fresh blood. The Community has a ever lasting beauty to it, while it’s Editors take a stand to show elegance in their writing. The officers are left without a leader to guide them, while our alliances can now get better access in voice chatting. Technology see’s the future, as Superclans and Powerclans bout it out for cookies. The race is on for Miners Haven, but is it already too late to start now? Is death and destruction the only way to go about things? Enjoy the latest edition of the Frostarian Times.

Aeternam honorem ad Frostaria!

1\\] Ceremonial Hype | Written by: iComrade

It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for (or at least we’d hope so), a moment that has raised a lot of hype throughout Frostaria. That’s right (if you guessed it), the Frostarian Award Ceremony has finally come around! This is an immensely significant Awards Ceremony. They usually occur after a war has ended, or after the promotion of an Admiral; however, this is comparatively disparate... It is titled the “Frostarian Awards." It provides Frostarians with the opportunity to nominate whom they themselves believe are currently the most productive members of the Frostarian society. There have been innumerable entries, however, only a select few have progressed to the final stages. There have also been numerous categories that separate each participator. As I said earlier, there are many categories within this “competition”, and all of them have a diverse meaning, with different winners. The Awards Ceremony is anticipated to take place on the 5th of July, at 6:00 PM EST (1:00 PM GMT). Be sure to devote a spot within your daily routine for this un-missable event! This event has been thoughtfully organised by Ex-Community Overseer, Swordmaker, and our current Community Overseer, ProstheticLeg.

There are a lot of sections in this competition and at least three-five nominated people within each section, whom may receive a reward. One of the most notable sections is the award “Training Commissioner”, awarded to obviously the best trainer in Frostaria. There are three nominees for this section; Supervisor Parixity, Justicar KingAktar, and Vindicator superdee1. Admiral Rykarz -the progression overseer- is expected to give out the award for this category. We also have officer only awards, “Most Productive Officer”. This section is used for the most mature officer -while on duty- that performs well and enforces/follows all the rules. We have three nominees for this section; Admiral fireandicebattle, Justicar Reducts (inetu), and Marshal TyroneHD. Operator IndyTheWindyCindy -the ex-Chief Liason Officer- is expected to present this category at the ceremony (this may be changed however as Indy has retired).

The Warfare department are infamous for leading successful raids against other clans,
and there just so happens to be a whole section devoted to the top raider. This award is labelled “Invader Inquisitor”. Those who have shown good leadership, skill, and/or communication during a raid, have been placed in this section. We have three nominees for this section; Justicar RATonemanarmy, Justicar Shinedown204, and Marshal Surgence. We also have a “Most Courageous Frostarian” award, awarded to those who have shown good leadership, or are usually the first to rush. There are three entrees for this section; Marshal Surgence, Great Admiral fabiao, and Justicar RATonemanarmy, all of which are all associated with the Warfare department. I interviewed Shinedown204 with a few questions concerning his position in the “Invader Inquisitor” category. Firstly, I asked him “Why do you think you were chosen for this category?”, he responded with “I think I was chosen for this category because I've performed with my utmost efforts in all the raids I've attended.”. I also asked him “Do you believe you are worthy of being in said category?”, he responded with “I believe so. I think I fit the title of this award, as said above, due to my activity and performances in raids, I've been chosen for this award by many frostarians.”. And finally, I asked him “What are your expectations? Do you think you will win this category?”, Mr. Shinedown responded with this “I've been nominated for 6 awards. I'm fine with whoever wins any of the awards which I'm nominated for. I don't expect to win any of them, although I'd like to. It's just a title.”.

We have a very interesting few sections coming up next. Firstly, we have the “Frostarian Legends” award. This award is given to the most progressive Operator, or Honourable Leader of the past. We have three nominees for this section; Honorary Leader ColourTheory, Operator berezaa, and Honorary Leader ThePhantomHourglass. This is expected to be presented by Great Admiral dizzdazz4 at the Ceremony. While most of those mentioned in this category cannot attend (CT as an example), they will still be given an award which will be logged at IC5. Next up, we have the “Frostarian Fanatic” award. This award is given to the most engaging and patriotic Frostarian. There are three nominees for this section; Marshal wipykid123, Great Admiral fabiao, and Ex-Admiral and current Supervisor, Swordmaker. Operator iSython, and current Head Editor in the Communications Core is presenting this award at the Ceremony! We have yet another interesting category up next, the “Outgoing Character” award. There are a grand total of five nominees in this category, they are as follows; Marshal TyroneHD, Great Admiral fabiao, Admiral ProstheticLeg (FaZeChowder02), Justicar 4Kayla4, Ex-Admiral Swordmaker, and Justicar Dmann3. Justicar Skyman772 is expected to present this award to the crowd at the ceremony.

We arrive at the community driven sections. These sections are simply devoted to those who contribute to the community, and really reach out to those who wants to join the community. First of all, we have the “Speaker of the Community” award. This is fairly self-explanatory, those who contribute and make an effort to progress the community are placed in this section. We have three nominees for this category; Justicar KingAktar, Vindicator superdee1, and Vindicator Resended. This award is expected to be handed out by none other than Swordmaker, former Communications Core Director. To conclude this section we have the “Funniest Individual” award, or as I call it “Funniest Frostarian”. This is quite a humorous section, filled only with the joke makers and clowns (don't take that as an offensive remark) of Frostaria. We have three nominees in this section; Vindicator FakeRaichu, Justicar Dmann3, and Admiral FaZeChowder02 (ProstheticLeg). This award is expected to be awarded by Admiral Bidoof77, and perhaps the contestants will tell us a joke on the stage.

Like I said earlier, the Warfare Department are infamous for organising raids on those who would oppose us. However, these following sections are the exact opposite. Instead of raiding our enemies, we are defending from our enemies! Firstly, we have the “Hero of Sierra” reward. This award is awarded to the top defenders of Sierra. Those who communicate, store aurem, and are usually top of the leaderboard. We have four nominees for this category; Marshal Surgence, Supervisor stephen02n, Justicar RATonemanarmy, and Justicar Shinedown204. This award is expected to be rewarded by Justicar & Commissioner runesman181.

There are also some special awards being given out at the ceremony. These are awards that are not voted on. There are four of these awards being handed out, I will mention two in this paragraph, another can be found below. The first of these awards is the “Healing Genie” award. An award given to the most courageous medic of Frostaria. Vindicator whatwhy09 will be giving this award out at the Ceremony. The two following concern Prestige and our local training holo of Palaestra. The “Prestige Leader” will be given out to the player with the highest amount of prestige. This is a pretty self-explanatory award, and Justicar KingAktar will be handing out this award.

Over a long period of time, the pre-eminent and exalted Grand Admiral, Mr. Polymorphic himself, has been pondering to himself whom he shall deem worthy of the legendary ‘Grand Admiral’s Bestowal’ award. Multifarious Frostarians may appear worthy of the prestigious award, however, only 1 may receive it, which is the main reason for its rarity… Since there are no fixed nominees for this award, it will be considerably more difficult to predict which venerable member of the Assault Team will receive the prestigious award. My guesses are that either an Honorary Leader or an Admiral+ will receive the award in the end. This award will obviously be award by the Grand Admiral himself, and it should be quite an exciting part of the Ceremony.

So there you have it folks, a basic overview of what is to come in the future. This is an extremely big event in Frostarian history and it should be one that isn't missed! Remember to clear your schedules for July 5th, 2015 at 6:00 PM EST (11:00 PM GMT). If you are receiving a nomination, we wish you the best of luck! Ensure that you submit your vote consisting of who you want to win at the final vote document!

2\\] Development Admiral’s Fall | Written by: KingAktar

Due to a recent decision by the respectable and well-known Development Director, FriendlyBiscuit has decided to retire. He has many reasons for retiring, and these revolve around the reason that everyone’s awesome time has to end. FriendlyBiscuit was the Development Director for quite some time now, and along with his Development Director title he was also the Sparrow Corp Director, and a respectable Admiral. During his time as an Admiral, he has worked on a variety of projects, one of the biggest being the outstanding Infocenter 5, which stores every Frostarian’s prestige and hard-work, all together. Along with him retiring, his hard-work gave him the opportunity to enter his resting place as an Operator.

I did not get a chance to fully interview the respectable Operator, but I did catch up with him right after he retired. He mentioned how his real-life was getting in the way of his Admiral duties, such as having a job, college, and just normal real-life everyday tasks. He also ensured me that he will continue to support Frostaria with his countless projects that will be coming in the future. With that being said, he has been rewarded with the “Honorary HICOM” teamspeak 3 tag, and is also still allowed to direct Sparrow Corp through their future endeavors. Basically, he liked his duties as an Admiral, including working on his special and secret projects, but could not muster up the time and dedication to continue working on the countless hard-working documents he had already completed. So, he decided to retire the Admiral position and just continue to help out by moderating the teamspeak 3 and directing Sparrow Corp. The “Honorary HICOM” teamspeak 3 tags, give him full permissions to attend the weekly High Council meetings, and stay in touch with all of our Officers and High Council members.

However do not confuse him being director Sparrow Corp (Division) with the Development Director (Committee) position, as that is why he truly retired. So that raised up a variety of questions that revolved around who will be the next Development Director? I spoke with FriendlyBiscuit on who he thought it would be, and he mentioned how the Grand Admiral had taken over an Admiral spot temporarily and that was what probably would happen. With this being said, the Grand Admiral actually took over the Development Director spot for the time being, which he had also done with Chief Justice before Meto02 was appointed.

To finalize, FriendlyBiscuit was a great member of Frostaria, and has surpassed many of its own members, to become what he is today. He has shown Frostaria and especially development a variety of ways to improve and progress as an entirety. He will still be roaming around ensuring the progression of Frostaria, and you can always speak to him when you see him. This also shows that people should never give up, as FriendlyBiscuit went through some former complications when he was a younger Frostarian, but succeeded all and all in the end.

3\\] HWS: Intelligence Amelioration | Written by: iBaconBits

The Homeworld Security Division is overseen by Runesman181, and directed by Praevum (iNFeXous), 4kayla4, and CircuIar. It is a division made to keep the frostarian code afloat, which has 3 seperate branches; the medical branch, the defensive specialists branch and the intelligence branch. The Medical Branch in Homeworld Security houses the most skilled and bravest defenders of frostaria. The Defensive Specialists Branch of Homeworld is in the making (more information will be released when Next Gen RAT Tech is available). And lastly, the Intelligence Branch, which will be the topic for today.

The question is, “What’s the point of the Intelligence Branch?”. Well, the intelligence Branch handles top notch, special espionage operation. “Its missions ranging from foreign scouting to deep scale infiltration” says Polymorphic. Only the most mature Frostarians can become an agent. Currently there are 4 ranks included; Agent, Deputy Director, Director and Honorary Veteran. Well, you can’t send an application for a Honorary Veteran. But you can achieve this rank by being a loyal member of the HWS and “contributing a great deal to the Homeworld Security Division”. Agent is the entrance rank of the Intelligence branch. Deputy Director.. pretty obvious, it’s the second in command rank of the Intelligence Branch, they assist the Directors with any administrative jobs, also the deputy directors usually choose the new agents. The Director rank is basically the CEO of all operations. They control all aspects of the Homeworld Security. The Director is chosen either by the current Director, or in rare cases, the Commissioner of Homeworld Security who have noticed their diligent work.

I have interviewed a 3 month HWS veteran -Deputy Director Draynar- on his opinion of the recent reforms. I asked him, “ How do you feel about the reforms for HWS Intel branch?” He said “Well, I feel that the Intelligence Branch is finally getting active once more." Ever since the fact that the HWS Committee and Department were disbanded, it was on a hiatus. However, it is now back and ready to do its part and serve Frostaria. I also asked him “If things get rocky with HWS, will he remain loyal to the Intel branch?” He replied “I'm actually planning to stay in Homeworld Security until the day I retire from RAT”

Now, you’re probably wondering, “how do I feel about the reforms/the future of HWS?” I feel like reforms can be good and bad, but it is absolutely necessary for change, and I feel that this reform will be a good one for the fate of HWS. A once powerful division in RAT will rise again from the ashes of inactivity and will become the well known division that it used to be. Now, what do you think?

Looking to apply for the Intelligence Branch?

4\\] The Big Departure | Written by: Draynar

It’s been a long time since IndyTheWindyCindy took up the position of Chief Liaison Officer (CLO) and he has done a great job! Unfortunately, every good thing comes to an end. Indy has decided to retire from RAT and the position of CLO. An old RAT veteran, CLO Indy has one Liaison Marshal, wipykid123. However, with the loss of a specific CLO, under the FMC, the whole High Command will now take on the responsibilities of the position as a whole. The CLO is an important part of the Frostarian Officer Core and losing one person dedicated completely to working on it might be hurtful to the Council.

In order to get some more insight on this, Liaison Marshal Wipykid123 was interviewed to see what his opinion is.

We all have different opinions about Indy's retirement and it would be interesting to hear the perspective from his own Liaison Marshal, Wipy. When asked what his opinion was on his retirement, Wipy answered: "My opinion on Indy's retirement is that I wish he could stay longer and help me a little more. When I was working with him, he was a great person to talk to and likes to keep everything in an orderly fashion." I agree with this, Indy was a good person to work with and one that always helped out and made time for others when possible. He will be sorely missed.

Let's be honest, many Frostarians have been wondering whether the CLO position is haunted. Personally, it does look like it! Our CLO's have not lasted long amounts of time before resigning, but Wipy has a different opinion. "I personally do not think that CLO is haunted because people move on from time to time. We are growing everyday and everything changes... from the time you are small, to the time you are younger. It's how life works. In my opinion CLO is not haunted." He makes a convincing argument, one that I invite you all to try to contradict.

It might have been possible for wipy to have known of Indy's retirement before he announced it publicly. Unfortunately, that isn't what happened. Wipy stated, "I was not aware of his retirement until the day he told me he was retiring." At this moment, there are 4 candidates for the position of CLO. Who will finally earn that coveted position?! Find out in the next edition!

5\\] Community’s Viewpoints | Written by: Shinedown204

Hello Frostarians! This week I was tasked to go through our community members to reach out and ask them what they think of our community. I went to interview lower ranks of RAT, to get a hold of their opinions. We wanted to know what you all as Frostarians think of our community, and RAT itself. It’s important to know if everyone of you are satisfied with our community, as it is what builds us.

First, I interviewed three lower ranks. I asked Supervisor iComrade what he thinks of this community, and if so, what he wants changed. He said, “I think RAT's community right now is flourishing. This group is built up upon its community, and to see it go would be a tale that would never be told again. I don't see anything that needs to be changed currently.” I then interviewed Marksman Campy, and asked him the same question. He suggested a change with the TS3. He said, “The community is rather organized and has a set of rules to keep everyone in line. Although they have this, bias still floats around within the administration on the TS3, that should probably be changed.”. After that, I interviewed, Supervisor Bob25817. I asked him the same question, what he thinks of this community, and if so, what he wants changed. He said, “I think that RAT is fine of how it is, it does not to be changed in any way. I am not saying that RAT is perfect, but it cannot be improved anymore than it already is. So somewhat perfect.”. After interviewing these three lower ranks, most people seem satisfied with our community, and want little to no change. In my opinion, I find the community welcoming and respectable, as people follow the rules that are set in stone. There are probably small issues within the community, but that’s easily fixable.

After interviewing three lower ranks, I then went to interview three higher ranks. I wanted to see what their opinion was on our community. I interviewed Justicar iSophiez, she said, “I believe RAT holds an incredible community that actively works together to build RAT into it's strong, efficient and excellent clan that it currently is. Anything that lacks and could be changed I believe that it will be dealt with effectively before it were to become a great problem. I definitely believe that RAT contains the greatest and most honourable community anyone will be able to find within the clan world.” I then interviewed Marshal Tyrone, he said, “Personally, I do like RAT's community how it is; the atmosphere, the people and the gossip and the technology we currently own. Other than the main points I have just stated a few aspects of the TeamSpeak 3 have been used unprofessionally by Robloxians. On the TeamSpeak 3 we can organize ourselves for raids, wars, scrimmages and so on but as it stands, a few of us have been abusing this privilege. Luckily for the great high command that we have, all problems are dealt with accordingly.” I then interviewed, Marshal Wipykid123. He said, “I think that the RAT community -as of now- is great overall. RAT is growing everyday with new improvements and other things that could help improve RAT's community overall.”

Through the six people I interviewed, the most common thought is the belief that the community is flourishing and seems very welcoming. I only interviewed six people, although if you want to be heard about the changes you want to our community, you can fill out the form below. We are all looking forward to hear your opinions, and what you believe should be changed, in order to make the community a better place for everyone.

Do you want to change something about the community? Have any suggestions or ideas? Feel free, to fill out this survey:

6\\] Meet the Editors | Written by: iSython

It has already been three months, since the first edition of The Frostarian Times came out and it has been growing ever more popular. However, it wasn’t always this packed with editors. From the start, it was only two editors, iSython and PixelYT, who managed the first two editions, under the watchful eyes of the previous Chief Editor, Swordmaker. When it was time, Swordmaker handed down the title of Chief Editor to me, after putting a lot of effort into the newsletter. Eventually things began to roll at the third edition, new editors were popping up and with the introduction of two new Overseers, The Frostarian Times was growing each edition. Also the Editors have gone far from writing stories for The Frostarian Times, such as managing the RAT Wikia, writing for the Monthly Edition and eventually soon making the Annual Magazine.

Anyway you look, you can easily notice the Editors have already gained more popularity, just by being an editor. They have grown higher in the ranks and most are in tons of divisions and committees. It’s amazing to see how far it’s grown since the beginning. I know because I am the first editor and have seen the amazing growth the editors team have done. Showing tons of progress in the Communications Core division and getting tons of support from the high ranks, well most of them anyways.

Many of those long term readers may enjoy the stories, but they honestly have no clue how hard it is to run each edition. Getting each editor moving -to write the stories on time- is one such difficulty. I have personally written the biggest story in The Frostarian Times so far, and in all, I honestly just wanted to beat Draynar’s word limit, that he wrote in the previous biggest story. Sadly I wrote too much for Roblox’s word count, which they need to increase by now.

The oldest editor still standing -other than me- is currently Bobafett215. He’s one of the oldest members in RAT and a total legend. When he returned to RAT -just a few months ago- I got him to send an application because I know he was capable of coming a great editor and he hasn't proven me wrong yet. He’s currently an Operator like me and is also a Sparrow Developer. He used to be an Admiral, In Honors and an Immortal. He wrote amazing stories such as RAT 200k, TPHG Retiring, and Gannex disappearing. It just so happens two of his stories came to be the front page story in the monthly edition. His most memorable moment being an editor is having a premium seat at Fabiao’s Promotion Ceremony, with the rest of the Communications Core Division.

Another one of the oldest editors back from joining since the third edition is Whatwhy. Many Frostarians know him already since he has very important positions to fill out. Back then we had a high demand for stories, so he had to write up to two or three stories at once. He’s currently a Vindicator in RAT, Deputy Director for Medics, In the Honors division and in the Communications Core Division as an Editor. He just happens to have the Frostarian Shield medal during his time in the Medical Division. He applied to come an editor because he had nothing else to do and so took upon this opportunity to join the division and it helped him with essays and grammar, for the final exam’s that he had to take just recently. He’s written so far the stories “Richers for the Poor”, “NBC Downcast” and tons of Marshal stories. He enjoys being an editor because “Interaction with people and the community of ROBLOX and being able to see the opinions of both sides of an argument or opinion about someone or someone’s group”. Lastly, he’s totally hyped about Fallout 4.

One of my top editors who has been with us since the third edition is Draynar. He totally amazes me since he showed off his first piece of stories. Considering his age and his skill, it wouldn't be surprising how far he goes in life. He’s currently a Justicar, Medic, Editor Overseer and in the Community Resources Committee. He applied to be an Editor because he wanted to be in the Communications Core. However, none of the other ranks really suited him since he didn’t enjoy talking with people or being in social media. His most notable story is the changes back then about Homeworld Security and The Justice Changes. He enjoyed deciphering all of Dizzdazz’s interview which was no easy thing and he wrote an immense amount of words. It just happens to be that he wrote 1600 words and it was the biggest story in The Frostarian Times till the last edition. His best moments being an editor is when he first got accepted seeing how small the team was back then and writing two stories for each edition. The other one was being accepted as a Committee member for Community Resources and later on becoming an Editor Overseer something which he has enjoyed to this day.

Not only do we have high ranks amongst us, but we also have a legend with us. Rivalize has only been in RAT two months and he’s already a Justicar, Deputy Director in Medics, 900 Prestige holder and he just happens to be in the Progression, Community and Warfare Committees. If you don’t think thats “op” yet, he also just happens to be in the awards ceremony for around 5-6 awards. That’s how amazing he has stood out so far. He came a editor simply because he enjoyed writing, now isn’t that inspiration. He’s already written some interesting stories such as the Coalition War, Fabiao’’s birthday party and Soticule Forces war. He’s had a lot of fun so far, especially hanging out with his best buddy wakkie.

It’s not always that you leave a group where you're a high rank for another, but this guy did. Realots has shown true dedication in RAT, catching the editor's eyes since the writing competition. His knowledge in C&G means that we assign stories to him, that are based around that. He has already written The Sword Clan Ro-War, TGI Crisis and RSF Rebirth. He enjoyed writing these stories because of going out and doing research, but not only that. Also going out and interviewing people surrounding the issue and getting a better picture of the situation. His most enjoyable moment was writing the RSF Rebirth story since he had been with RSF for 3 years. He hopes to continue to write for The Frostarian Times.

Like all those trying to get to the top, one of them is KingAktar. He’s one of those guys who you can recognise as the new generation of Frostarians. Currently he is FoL, Honors, Editors, Progression Committee and Medical Deputy Director. He also happens to be a Justicar and a nominee for the awards; Endeavor Award, Speaker of the Community, and Trainer Commissioner. He applied to come an editor because he wanted to improve himself on his creativity which can easily be seen working. He has written several stories so far including; 50 Shades of Midnight Blue, Honorary Future, Moo Therapy and Well Needed Changes. He enjoys being an editor, together with everyone else.

This editor iComrade is a new editor who just joined in the last edition. He also happens to be in Flight of Liberation as a Militant. He applied because he wanted to express his creative mind to his fellow Frostarians. The only story he has written is a story focused on the current Speaker of Officers, FireandIceBattle. He enjoyed getting interviews despite how complicated it was, he still improvised. He may be new, but he has been working his hardest so far and has to create memorable moments other than writing his first story.

The last new editor to appear on the scene is Xuenous who has only been with us for three weeks now. He joined the same time as iComrade and has shown true potential. He’s only a Guard in RAT currently and has a long way to go, but I believe in him to show his true potential. He joined the editors team because like everyone else, he wanted to express his creativity and show his imaginative writing skills. The only story he has written so far is about the X-101st Civil war which really was a pain to write considering the people he tried to interview never replied, but he showed initiative to keep trying.

The editor team has been through so much since I first came an Editor and I’m so proud. RAT has a community, but so does the Editors as we keep in contact always and work together for stories. We should be a proud example of how division leaders, squads and all sorts should work together. This is only the beginning and you can expect more from us. You still have a chance to apply while we have open spots for writing on The Frostarian Times and the Magazine. You can even work on the wiki. We even have one or two spots open for proofreading.

9) Welcome Thebestatmath (Proofreader), on becoming the newest member of the Communications Core Family. You can still apply for a Communications Core position here:

7\\] New Deputy Directors in Medics | Written by: whatwhy09

The Homeworld Security Medical Branch has recently accepted two members into the ranks of Deputy Director. Even though there was supposed to be one, these individuals have outdone themselves within the group. With this new position, they will be taking the ranks on what some of the medics deem “The Surgeon Generals”. The Deputy Director has a role of voting in new members, deciding on decisions for their respective branch, and cooperating with the Director to help progress within the branch and hopefully the entire division. Deputy Directors are instrumental with the progress of the branch and the regulation of those who are below them.

Shinedown is one of the new Deputy Directors accepted to the role by the Directors and Commissioner, whom had won the popular vote for the public voting within the Medical Branch. He was recently accepted into the division about three weeks ago and he is already making strides to progress forward within the division. He is currently a Justicar within the main group, a fellow editor, and a militus of the elite fighting division, Flight of Liberation or FOL for short. Ever since his announcement of his true identity -Rivalize14- more than a month ago, he had made huge progress over the time that he put forth, and he accomplished most of his goals, since he first stepped into this group.

The final deputy director that has been chosen for the role is KingAktar, whom had outdone himself for the progression and the well-being of the medical branch. Although he was one of the runner-ups to become the next Deputy Director, he expressed new changes -to be implemented- in the branch and helped bring progress to the branch. Just like Shinedown, they both share the same rank in most divisions, except for honors division, in which only KingAktar is a member. KingAktar was accepted quite a while ago and had served the medical branch well, and it was only a matter of time before he was to be promoted within the branch.

To those who strive to reach this rank, do not be in dismay. It may take time, but nothing is impossible. With this, it is the end of voting for one of the most instrumental roles within the division itself and as more branches start to become activated, it will be your chance to fill in the important role for the other branches. Finally, congratulations to the new Deputy Directors, may you serve your division well as long as you serve.

8\\] VOID Alliance Changes | Written by: Thebestatmath

Recently, VOID has been changing up who their allies are. The reason being was explained by Jimmywind -a High Priest in VOID- who had stated that some of their previous allies had been either hostile to them or of no benefit at all. This had caused them to be officially removed from an alliance with VOID. The first clan to be removed was The Renegades of Solarist, in which Jimmywind said that they were being hostile to VOID and its allies. The second clan VOID removed alliances with was Arenirian Sovereignty, in which Jimmy mentionedthat they saw no sign of advancement, with the alliance.

The last clan VOID had removed alliances with was UCR. I interviewed SeanyBiy, a fellow Supervisor in RAT and a part of the High Council in UCR, to see how he felt about UCR being removed from the alliance with VOID. He said, “My opinion on the VOID/UCR as a whole is that alliances require mutual effort in order to flourish, of which neither clan made a lot of effort. If UCR and VOID had made more of an effort during our alliance, this would not have happened.” SeanyBiy also stated, “UCR doesn’t hold any accountability for the events that have transpired.”

Although VOID has been removing some of its allies, it also been gaining new allies, such as the likes of Sleet Clan. VOID hopes that they will have a good and beneficial alliance, and will have a better future with them. Only time will tell.

9\\] Frostarian Citizenship Visa System | Written by: Thebestatmath

RAT now has a new system for allies to gain tags on TeamSpeak3 (TS3)! It’s called the “Frostarian Citizen Visa System”. This new system will allow allies, at a certain rank, to gain temporary, or permanent access to TS3. Temporary tags will let you go to one event, and will disappear when you leave the Teamspeak. You also need HR consent before you connect to the server. On the other hand, if you get permanent tags, you may visit the RAT TeamSpeak as often as you want, and do things with RAT, that don't have to be ally related. You also do not need HR permission to join the server.

> Requirements to gain a Temporary Visa:

Consent between both HRs from RAT and the Allied HR.
Must have a good standing in RAT Community.
Cannot be a repetitive rule breaker.

> Requirements to gain a Permanent Visa:

1. You must be at least one of these ranks or higher:
A-SOV- Ancillary+
SF - Operative+
VOID- Grub+
UAF- Corporal+
2. You must also do a written test, similar to Solum Advancement’s Quiz.

This new citizenship system will allow allies to participate with RAT in events, and make getting onto our TS3 much easier and simplier.

10\\] WIJ’s Alterations | Written by: Libanxsm

Recently, WIJ has undergone reforms to help solve the problems of the situation that they are currently in. Some of these changes are quite major ones, such as inactivity and rank structure changes, while others are minor ones, such as improvements within the community and game nights to emphasize interaction with the community in the group. With this, the HICOM of WIJ have decided to name JuHDude as the WIJ Chief Liaison Officer, ConMan35 as the Community Manager, and finally Veltexus as the manager of the Steam group.

Inactivity has also been addressed by the High Command, with the demotion of various inactive High Ranks that are in the group (they may appeal their demotion by making up for their activity before being able to gain their rank back). There are two divisions within WIJ, Sable which is specialized with development of technology and various other assignments and Corus which is the community based division. Both divisions have also been re-structured within the ranking system and have had new overseers replace the old ones. The new overseer for the Sable division is Gentaurg and he is responsible for new development, while Corus will have Z007 overseeing their newsletter, and Cashpop overseeing their lore.

With this, WIJ has taken the necessary steps to become an active, quality group, as it once was. They have shown much progression within a short amount of time. If their HICOM continue to keep on looking at and fixing the group problems, then they are on the way to a bright future.

11\\] Superclans v Powerclans | Written by: Bobafett215 and Kjr51

For those of you newer to the world of Clans and Guilds, you may be looking for a clan you want to get involved in. Many players default to the gigantic superclans, because they dominate the leaderboards when searching for a group. However, if you plan to get involved with C&G, you should probably be aware that there are two main types of war clans.

After much debate, the Communications Core has finally reached a verdict regarding the Roblox Assault Team’s official definition of a ‘superclan’ and a ‘powerclan’. A superclan is any group with at least 50,000 members, and plays an active role as a major part of the clan world. Superclans rely on sheer numbers to seek out talent and wage wars. They often have high attendance trainings, and numerous departments in their group structure, to keep things running smoothly. A few of the most commonly known superclans are RAT, FEAR, and Vortex Security. In order to progress to the highest ranks in a superclan, you’ll need time, dedication, and leadership skills to become a major part of the clan.

Powerclans on the other hand, boast far fewer overall numbers, but focus on training those members to their utmost limits. Most powerclans average between 5,000 and 10,000 members, and make use of a filter group, to find the most talented of their applicants. Only once a member has progressed through the ranks of the filter group, are they allowed into the actual powerclan. There are a few extremely well known powerclans that walk among us in C&G, most notably The Vaktovian Empire and their counterpart The Vaktovian Army Corps. In addition, there’s VOID and HIVE, and the group Soticule Forces. It is somewhat easier to be noticed in a powerclan -due to the far smaller member count- but you’ll need to stand out among their already elite members.

It’s really a matter of preference when deciding on a clan, and many members find that their first clan tends to be the type they favor in the end. However, it’s important to keep in mind that every clan functions differently, and what works for one person may not work for another. So keep an open mind, and search for the group that best suits you.

(All of the information and facts presented in this article are as non-biased as possible, and all numerical information was appropriately agreed upon, though you reserve the right to hold your own opinions regarding classification)

12\\] Your Story | Written by: iSython

If you haven't read the previous part, you can read it here:
>[ http://www.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=164510485 ] - Section 11\\]

It was madness in the meeting. Isan gave the ultimate speech of destruction. He proposed that the world was no longer worth fighting for. Whats the point in fighting for the world if everything will eventually cease to exist. Isan decided that he will personally bring life to a stand still and reverse time to a paradox being. With the Infinity Core, and the most powerful item in the world, Isan was truly ready. Most of his brothers of evil didn’t want to use it because they reasoned "we still have a future left ahead of us and we can easily defeat the enemy." Isan had none of it and eliminated them all. It was only a matter of hours now. Shine and Pari meanwhile switched sides when Scorpio paid them a higher price and when he discovered Isan’s true goals, his fury knew no bounds.

Scorpio sent out his whole army to charge forward to Isan’s base. It was an endless slaughter. Almost everyone from both sides perished. Both sides called the sound of retreat due to the lack of troops and morale. After effectively wiping out Scorpio's army and leading his army to destruction, Isan decided that this was the best time to end the world. Saying his final prayer, he looked upon the sunset glowing with the crimson blood of the dead and smiled.

His power had caused armageddon and life in the universe became no more.

The End

14\\] Ask the Editor

We will give prestige, to those people whose interesting questions are picked. For more information on how to get your very own question in the Frostarian Times, read on further.

-//What are some things a Frostarian can do to promote activity in RAT and socialism?\\- [ Answered by - iComrade ]

There are plenty of things one can do to promote activity and socialism in not just RAT, but in any group. You must appear to others as an outgoing individual. Regularly posting on the RAT wall is one way, however keep the posts appropriate and make sure they are well received. After a practice is hosted, be sure to give your opinion on it. Not only will the trainer learn from his/her mistakes, but other Frostarians may recognise you, and they may also start posting their opinions. Joining Frostarian divisions is another great way to boost your activity and socialism in RAT. It’s always worth applying for anything, it’s always worth a shot. So go out there, become a part of the community, don’t stay in the shadows.

-//How do we improve our teamwork?\\- [ Answered by - Thebestatmath ]

You can improve your teamwork by using communication, which is one of the most important things on a battlefield. Communication involves telling other teammates where you are, or where the enemy is. This includes telling your teammates where you die and how many enemies were near you when you died. Teamwork and Communication, along with skill, leads a team to success.
+

Do you have a question about something you find difficult to understand in RAT? Something that you wish to know in great detail? Or perhaps do you have a complicated question about RAT Lore, that no one else can help you with?

Submit your questions and we will pick a handful, which we will answer -to the best of
our ability- in full detail, for the next edition.

15\\] Frostarian Times Magazine Competition

The Communications Core is giving you another chance to win some prestige, in this edition's competition.

The Communications Core team has already started planning the different sections and highlights in the “Frostarian Solstice” magazine. So far we have made a lot of progress, but we believe that we are missing out on many amazing things, to include in the magazine. Therefore if you can think of great ideas/suggestions of content -such as different sections and highlights- that will be included in the magazine, you have a chance to win prestige. The best thing about this competition is that there will be multiple winners. You can enter as many entries as you want, in which all the best ideas/suggestions, will be awarded prestige. If you wish to get more information on this competition, you can always PM the Community Resources Marshal nooksi28 or Chief Editor iSython.
