| Ok this is easy but very touchy... to make a brick that forces you in a direction.. well you have to go to the properties on your brick ok? when your there an edit the velocity... now depending on what direction the brick is facing you will have to edit the x or the z number ok? the y is for going up(i am experiementing with that) so dont bother with the y. Now sometimes the number you put in ther just dissapears. its like ahhhhhhh!!!!! ok now that you have rcovered from that i will tell you why it did that. Ok i have found that the number will always dissapear if it is on the base so you have to put some other block or something underneath it to make the number stay. Now sometimes even after that it still does not work so you can make it work by making the block underneath it smooth surface on the top. Now that brought up something else.. to make your thing work i think you have to make the top surface of your block that you are going to be moving on top smooth for the surface that you are walking on. Now i think i explained all of that in enough detial so you should be able to get started on it. I have actually with some of this stuff made an escelator. It is actually quite fun!!! Hope you understand everything i said.. Oh yea if you try and copy the piece it will take away your number you put in for the velocity.... remember not the RotVelocity just the plain ol Velocity. Well have fun with that!! |

Mirrors: okay, to make a mirror it isn't exactly a mirror, it's just a shiny brick, but anyway how to do it. Open your place and click on 'Insert' and 'Tools'. Okay, now after you have done that at the top of your screen click on the 'View' tab, and open the 'Explorer' and 'Properties'. Now that you've done that click on one of the tools in your 'Tools' tab, and click on a brick in the 'Insert' tab. Now in the properties scroll down to the bottom somewhat and it there will be a place that says 'Surface', make all of the sides of the block smooth. Then scroll back up to the top and click on 'Reflectancy', then make it like 100 and press enter. Pronto! You have a mirror. Hope this helps.

To get pictures onto bricks, you have to make your own decal, Profile>(Scrolldown)>Decals>Create New>Create
Then, go to Roblox Studio, make a brick, obviously, then go to toolbox, my decals, click on your decal, then click on the side of the brick you want.
You can get free decals in the Catalog!
Also in Free Decals selection of Toolbox! |
