or vote for bernie sanders if you actually want to afford healthcare or college.
it's more expensive to get one hip replacement in the u.s than it is to fly to spain, get a hip replacement, stay there for a few years, get another hip replacement, then fly back.

"it's not hard at all"
are you aware that tuition at university of southern california is $50,000??
are you not aware that, while minimum wage from the 1970s has increased three times, average college tuition has increased nine times?
meanwhile, in europe, you get the same education for a great deal less.

maybe these college students need to get their heads out of their asses and actually go somewhere they can afford instead. Literally, they go out of state, get room and board, and go to a far more expensive college "because it's a nicer college campus". Instead they should be utilizing state program's that let you take college courses FOR FREE if you're under 18, go to community colleges (which are starting to become very good quality), and/or take online classes which are also substantially cheaper and good quality.
let the classic supply and demand force apply to colleges
if expensive colleges don't get enough students, they will lower prices

and we let students get way over their head in debt, if there's no limit, they'll definitely accumulate a lot more
the same can be said with the USA government
maybe if we get a person that can actually manage money instead of tossing it around, maybe then things will be better |

@blackpig
most of my friends, and perhaps even myself, are moving out of country to go to college. the tuition for the decent colleges here are impossibly high.
i ain't going to some community college, or a bad state college. i could get a ucla education for a third of the cost in canada or germany, and that'll hopefully be what i do.

and just the fact that it is less expensive to travel across the atlantic and get operations performed there than it is to stay here and get it done in america shows that we really need to change.

try paying for college with a minimum wage job
try paying for a house, or a loan, or a CAR, on minimum wage
go ahead, because you can't. it's impossible. the "real jobs" you describe are few and far between for newly graduated college students. |
