If you have a starting position, you could base it off that position.

I've made a model in the past that is very similar to this. It is a little bit complicated and takes a little bit to figure out, but if you really want to get your script working, this may help:

Could you fix my script I have right now?

MAP = game.Workspace.Part;
Paths = MAP:GetChildren();

for i,v in pairs(Paths) do
PosX = v.Position.X/MAP.Position.X;
PosZ = v.Position.Z/MAP.Position.Z;
SizeX = v.Size.X/MAP.Size.X;
SizeZ = v.Size.Z/MAP.Size.Z;
local path = Instance.new("TextLabel", script.Parent.Map);--make the fake path, map is already pre-made, (THE GREEN STUFF)
path.Text = "";
path.BackgroundColor = v.BrickColor;
path.BorderColor = v.BrickColor;--color it the appropriate color.
path.Size = UDim2.new(SizeX,0, SizeZ,0)
path.Position = UDim2.new(PosX,0,PosZ,0)
end

It goes off screen 3:

Im guessing you take a centerpoint, and use region3's to get the parts in a certain area. Then, you simply get their position and rotation in relation to the center parts position and rotation and place it on the screen. It will take a very small bit of geometry and im not sure how exactly to do it but ive seen a great one that uses this method.
