Do you think it was called for or not, and why do you think it was called for or not?
Certainly I think it was, because some country had to step in and defeat the Taliban government in Afghanistan. I mean, if you read about the human rights abuses that they committed, it is absolutely sickening. That, and the War in Afghanistan resulted in the destruction of many al-Qaeda camps.
I'm not denying the injustices that were committed during the War in Afghanistan, such as the civilians that were killed, but people who focus on this and the conspiracy theorists who think it was just about oil, are very ignorant; America couldn't just let the evils of the Taliban government continue, and though President Bush made some very poor decisions (especially during the latter portion of the war), I believe it was still a war that was called for. |

| If I voiced my opinion over Off-Topic, mods would again decide that the first amendment isn't their problem, therefore leading to me having to use an alt for the next couple days. Therefore I will not be voicing my opinion, but I will say that I support the soldiers over there, and my father was deployed to Ahfganistan at one point in his career. |
