These are the rules and regulations of LEF (Le Empire France/L'Empire Franci)
Everyone must ready the "Line Infantry" section below, and other notes down the bottom (Estimated read time 5 minutes)
If you wish to join our group, it is the primary on my profile.
If you are a special unit, you must ready your Rules and Regulations.
-----Line Infantry-----
Refer to a superior as Sir. Refer to the Emperor as The Emperor. Instead of yes say "Aye." after EVERY command. Always ask for permission to speak (Say PTS Sir) When being trained, or in line combat.
When in line combat, do not turn and run UNLESS you have to commanding officer, or the Commanding officer (Superior) says RETREAT! When routing (retreating) turn and flee as soon as possible.
Firing commands: Present Arms! (Make present, substituted by the number 1) Shoulder Arms! (Put the arms into your shoulder, substituted by the number 2) Fire! (Shoot, substituted by the number 3) Load! (Load your gun, substituted by the number 4)
Can also be 1 (Present Arms) 2 (Shoulder Arms) 3 (Fire) 4 (Load)
When "Ready arms Ready" is said, you are to put the weapon into an un-cocked, and un-shouldered position
When "Fire at will" or "FAW" is said, you are to fire when loaded, at the nearest enemy, until "FAW Stop" or "Hold Fire" is said.
When the commanding officer says "Rally!" You are to stop your retreat. When Artillery men/Support men are under ranged attack, and unprotected they may retreat.
When "Row Formation" is said, you are required to be in a shoulder by shoulder. If "Row Formation 5" is said (5 by be replaced by any number) you must do rows of that number.
When "Line Formation" is said, you must dorm into a single file line.
When "Fix Bayonets" is said, you must ready your bayonets to engage.
When "Defensive Positions" is said, you must attack targets, but not follow them until they die.
When "Offensive Positions" is said, you must attack targets until they die.
When "Charge is said" You must say "HUZZAH!" and charge the enemy with bayonets ready, or swords, if loading finish loading then charge.
When "Fire and Advance" is said, you must fire and then load then advance 5 paces (Press W 5 times)
When "Fire from Stand" is said, you must fire and load and NOT advance.
When "Break Ranks" is said, you must break ranks and split up, doing independent fighting.
When "Stop Command" is said, you must stop everything that you are doing (unless loading)
When you are under melee attack, and we are in line battle you are to engage with whatever possible, if your gun is ready and the enemy is within 5 feet, unless hold fire has been said, you may fire without the command.
If you miss, the nearest men to you are to help you out in combat.
If someone is killed, fill in their spot and move over.
The front row must always have the most people, unless equal.
Junior officers and above may command.
The Superior officer has command unless said otherwise.
-----Special unit commands----- Only certain men will obtain the ability to follow these commands.
-----Light Infantry----- When "Light Infantry Doc!" is said, you must spread out into a staggered formation and fire at will, and pick off enemy targets with time taken and make sure you hit.
When "Skirmish" is said, you are to stay 50 paces away from the enemy at all times, if the enemy comes within 50 feet you must either shoot them if ready or walk backwards.
When "Independent Engage" is said, you may shoot, or engage melee when you wish.
Light infantry should avoid melee when possible, due to them missing bayonets.
-----Artillery/Support-----
When "Can Round" or "Round Shot" is said, you must load the selected round.
When "Fire" is said, you must fire the cannon.
When "Melee ready!" is said, you must stop everything and be ready for melee. Only engage in melee if they're outnumbered 2 to 1 or you have infantry support.
-----Cavalry----- (Cal-ver-e)
When "Wedge Formation" is said, you must form up into a wedge, or a flat triangle, with the commander at the tip.
If your horse dies, let all the other cavalry past and fall back to the infantry.
When Cavalry, be a lancer never be a cavalry officer.
-----Other Notes----
When a commander gives an order, you must follow this. Failing to listen to an order can result in a demotion, of 1-3 ranks.
You must say "Aye!" After a command is given unless the commander says "Quiet."
Use team chat unless dead, or the commander allows you to.
This will be worked on. The group is a work in progress, training map under development.
Never, ever surrender. |
