"Mama, mama, come play with me" "In a second, Julie" That's what she always said. It was a beautiful April day, just perfect to play outside, my friends couldn't play today, but luckily I had mama, she would always have to do something before playing though. Finally, she was done, she came outside with large red ball, one I had never seen before. "Mama, what's that?" I asked. "You're old ball was dirty and worn out, so I bought you a new one" She replied. I thanked her and got ready to play catch. We both threw the ball to each other until mama threw it a little to hard, and it went into the woods that behind our house, the very woods that mama told me NEVER to go into, so mama volunteered to go get the ball. She was gone for what felt like hours, and I was getting worried. What do I do? A. Look for her B. Wait for her |

"I'm sure she'll come back" I said, she wouldn't just run off like that, and with that, I went inside. Several hours later, mama came back, covered in scratches and cuts, her clothes soaked with unidentifiable liquids, she tried to call out for help, but all that came out was a squeak, finally, she collapsed, dead, on the ground. What do I do? A. Investigate in the woods B. Tell Father C.Run up to my room. |

I decided that the best thing I could do was tell my father. I ran to the kitchen where he was cooking a lasagna, fit for three. "FATHER, FATHER!" I yelled "M-M-M-MAMA'S DEAD!!!" I probably shouldn't have yelled it as loud as I did, but that wasn't important to me at the time. "I'll go look" Father said calmly as he walked outside, "maybe...things will be better than they seem" What do I do? A. go with him B. stay behind |
