| There was, but it was just a crappy top-down arcade release called Burnout Crash, and that was like 4-5 years ago. The series seems to be pretty much dead now. |

| you could call Split/Second "the new Burnout" because of the realistic crashing physics and racing to-the-death. |

| also, you can get Burnout 3 for the X-box 360 for 9 bucks, you can also get Burnout: Revenge (burnout 4) for 9 bucks, too. |

| Split/Second is quite good in terms of gameplay, but it gets old really fast. It doesn't seem to have anywhere near as much variation as burnout... |
