| ROBLOX normally installs on windows in (i guess) C:\Program Files\Roblox. Sadly, there is no option to change the installation folder so far as I know. I want my roblox in the D:\Games\Roblox folder, but how? Can someone help me? |

My OS currently is Windows 8 Professional 64-bit. Moving the file is inpossible, because it's being installed. |

| It may be possible to edit the Roblox Launcher with 7 zip or 7 zip portable by a skilled professional... I'll see what I can do to resolve the issue myself in the meantime. |

Not good at reading encrypted files... OKAY!!! I'm just lazy but nothing in the Manifest seems to stand out to me... I'll keep trying.

.rdata in the roblox has to be edited. you need 7 zip or 7 zip portable, notepad, and skills. Use 7 zip whatever to get inside the launch file for roblox, open .rdata with note pad, click edit, click find, type in "Failed to create directory" in find, edit the "SHGetKnownFolderPath \Roblox \" and change it to "SHGetKnownFolderPath C:\Users\"My User Name"\Desktop\New folder\Roblox \". set new foulder name to whatever. save what you edited to desktop. Extract roblox launcher and replace the .rdata with the new one you saved on desktop. Turn foulder back into a exe file (sorry, can't help on that part). Launch the new exe file you made and have fun!
*Note* So far this has not been tested completely as I do not know how to turn it into a exe file. Thank you and goodnight! |

| You could also try creating your own install file... Testing is currently in progress. |

| Finally solved, just right click your Roblox launcher and go to compatibility mode. with windows vista/7/ect... click on run in compatibility mode for windows xp service pack 2. Do the same for Roblox.exe and Roblox Studio.exe shortcuts. Open Roblox studio and choose your game, enjoy! |

How about you weirdos just install it then move the file to the right directory?
To do pull it off is an extremely complicated process: You'll have to read what I say VERY carefully.
Right-click the Roblox file. Click Cut. Go to the file you want to put it in. Right click empty space in it. Click Paste.
I hope that's not too complicated for ya. |

^^ You didn't solve anything. You obviously don't understand what this thread is about. Necrobumping is against the rules and there is no exception.

Don't bump this, you can just cut out the folder but i don't know how it will work, the site is created to open a specific file and may not find the Player.

@GodShowsTheWay Show me where that rule is written.
Also I do understand what the thread is about. What the thread is NOT about is posting exclusively to put someone down for contributing to it. |

You can't , becouse even if you move it , roblox will always try to find it where it orginaly installed so if there is no roblxo there it will just install new one , it is imposible becouse roblox is made like that
