Windows Server 2012 can support up to 4TB of ram.

Believe it or not RAM is an essential part to a Workstation. So yes, you need a lot of power to run CAD software. |

it would if you're just a gamer but if you run a server on multiple games, are a streamer, and play multiple games at once, you might need it
