respect is defined as viewing someone in high regards "high" is relative to how you normally view people if your normal view of people is that you hold them all in high regards then you hold nobody in high regards because they are all the same |

| I think they mean "be respectful towards everyone", which in other words means polite. |

i think it makes sense that you could hold all people in high regards i mean you don't hold literally everything in high regards, just people, so that you're not treating them like objects or animals and you're respecting them, you know? |

You show respect for yourself by tolerating their behavior whether or not it's appropriate. |

@Moris yeah but not everyone is capable of tolerating certain things if someone is allowed to behave a certain way than someone else should be allowed to get mad if interferes with what they're trying to do |
