@king
True. In my opinion, there are only two parties in this country: "Bad" (Democrats), and "Worse" (Republicans) |

imo I feel the same about Republicans
most of them, not the insane neo cons, the ones that actually believe in smaller government and aren't religiously insane |

If you look at this study it says the opposite of OP's claim by the way: https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/finding-the-next-einstein/201311/who-s-smarter-republicans-and-democrats-in-congress
Also the blue states seem to mostly have higher average IQ than red ones: http://i.ytimg.com/vi/P40ztjVTZRY/maxresdefault.jpg

Feel free to respond to the study I cited. The article I used contains a link to the actual research paper done and seems fairly unbiased to me. |

it's not the fact that these are coming from biased places
its the fact that they were meant to be biased in the first place
do you really think you're going to spend time trying to prove some political thing if you aren't aiming for a political goal? |

@Johnny
That's why I used the one I did. It was aimed at showing the intelligence of Judges, Billionares, CEOs, senators, and house members. The republican and democrat part was there also, but not the primary part of the study. (I know the article title is a bit misleading with that, so I'll just directly link the study) https://www.psychologytoday.com/files/attachments/56143/wai-americas-elite-2013.pdf |

I see that, but was it necessary to even show democrats vs. republicans in the study if you are just studying elitists?
no |

No. But personal views don't change the facts shown by this study. Which shows that there was a higher percentage of democratic senators/representatives in the top 1% of cognitive ability than the republican percentage. |

Sure, the study might have proved something, but was there a goal to prove something Democrats vs. Republicans? If you're going to study elitists in the fist place (anything political there?), why are you lumping political nonsense in it unless you want to show something for political reasons? |
