the i7 is the best but it depends on whether it's in a laptop/ultrabook/desktop
i think one of the best is the 4770k still |

| honestly i5 and i3 are good processors too. Both are powerful. It's just a matter of how much you want. |

| there will be some at best buy, get an i5 its still good and cheaper, i5 will work good |

^you don't need it, but its the recommended choice for minor/average sized amounts of gaming. i5 is good all around, but if you have the money and you're the type who spends quite a bit of their day on a computer, either for hardcore gaming, for demanding games, or for rendering, or editing, get an i7, or get a Xeon if your needs are even higher. i3 is good too, but won't run demanding games as well, and you'll experience lots of lag on cpu-intensive games and programs. this means also get a good gpu. if you get a bad cpu and a very powerful gpu, the cpu will bottleneck the gpu. this means the gpu will not perform to its full extent. so get a decent cpu with a decent gpu |
