Scripting. It takes a lot of patience to learn and know (im working on it) im more of a builder and haven't put forth any scripting skills in my games. |

| Scripting is definitely harder! I'm a builder who's currently learning to script, building is only something that gets tedious, but scripting requires your mind a lot more than building does. |

| I'm a scripter and I'd say building, it takes so much time and to do so many little details it's so hard, but If you're a builder than scripting is hard and vice versa, that's why it's better to collaborate with someone cause it's rare to be both. |

Scripting isn't hard. Learning to script however, can be pretty difficult. But once you know how, it becomes fun and easy. When you get to a point where you are not constantly asking questions and getting stuck on how to do things, then that's not what takes time. Scripting mostly involves problem solving. If you are able to simplify a problem (e.g. "how do I script a gun" becomes "how will I do the firing of it"), then you're halfway to completion.
But really, if you're deciding which one you want to do, I'd say do both! Scripting and building compliments each other extremely well. Sure, you can build some awesome showcases, but they get kinda boring if you can't interact with it. And sure, you can script some really complicated systems for games, but it's not worth a lot if you can't make it look beautiful. |

Many scripters are saying building is more hard. Actually everyone has a different way of learning things, for some people learning how to script is complected, other people get to know it fast an easily. With building you can either do something plain, or make a building high in detail.
Building is a lot easier, and you don't need a lot of skill to start off with. However with scripting you need to learn the language. Normally in building you gradually learn what you are doing. Don't get me wrong you do gradually learn scripting as well.
I just recommend building. |

it's better to learn both. both may be equally difficult to acquire the skills for at first, but once you get the hang of it, it gets easier. i do both scripting and building, so i can make games without having to share profit or have the complications.
try learning both c: |

| Build mainly just takes the know hows of the tools, and creativity. Scripting takes math, reading a lot, remembering a lot, and logical thoughts. So I would say scripting. |
