it can play GTA 4 on medium settings with only a little bit of lag, but on my laptop with intel hd graphics 3000, it lags like hell on medium settings

did we ever say that intel hd 3000 is better than it? no we said it is a terrible value and something like an hd 7770 or a gtx 750 ti is a much better value |

My Intel HD Graphics 4600 can't even run GTA 4 on medium settings. Then again, the game is horribly optimized.

exactly, people were saying that integrated graphics were more powerful than the card but they obviously never tried out the card before judging it

"exactly, people were saying that integrated graphics were more powerful than the card but they obviously never tried out the card before judging it" It's because laptop CPUs are less powerful than desktop CPUs (to save power, of course). |

"Since when was HD 3000 better than a GeForce 210?" It depends on the CPU and RAM. If you have a powerful CPU and lots of RAM paired with HD 3000, it probably will beat the 210. GeForce 210s are awful and you're practically losing money for grinding down to the lowest GPUs that you can even buy. |

Seriously, though. Just compare the specs. Intel HD 3000 has a base clock of 850MHz, while the GeForce 210 is a low 589MHz. The memory speed on the HD 3000 is 667MHz, while the memory speed on the GeForce 210 is only 500MHz. Also, the HD 3000 has a 128 bit memory bus, while the GeForce 210 has a painfully low 64 bit memory bus. And, the memory in the GeForce 210 is DDR2, with only 8GB/sec memory bandwith, while the Intel HD 3000 has DDR3 memory with 21.3GB/sec memory bandwidth.
The HD 3000 tramples it in almost every way possible, IMO. |

"The A4-6300 iGPU is better than a HD 3000" Of course, because AMD is a master at graphics and Intel is simply an amateur. |

"seriously, it cant even run GTA san andreas at very high settings with anti analising turned on and with 1360 x 768 resolution, my laptop lags when i do that" Does your laptop have the same exact specifications as the desktop you put the GeForce 210 in? If not, then the comparison is invalid, since your laptop probably has a much worse CPU and much lower RAM. Besides, how couldn't a laptop with Intel HD 3000 run GTA:SA? That game is 10 years old and its recommended specifications to run are a Pentium 4 with a 128MB DirectX 9.0c card. |
