Some when I watch them, I wonder what age audience they're meant for. I'll be watching one that I'll assume is for kids and it seems like it, but then I see some obvious kinda explicit adult-content like stuff in them but the anime still seems very kid-friendly. Like what the heck? Not just that but intense blood and gore (still enjoyable) for a show aimed at kids.
Is it that Japan's standards for what's considered kid-friendly lower, or what? This is not a rant as I enjoy those animes no matter what the content. |

If you're 8 in Japan you've already learned to animate Busty Females.

| That's the same as video games in America. There may be kid friendly video games but they sneak in something crude or inappropriate. |

| This is more than just sneaking in, it's outright making it seem normal. Like half the stuff I see in kid animes, if it were in American kids' cartoons, they would've immediately been pulled off the air with really angry parents. |

| Also the swearing. They get away with even dropping the f bomb and the s word. Yet here in America, those 2 words are even censored on MA-17 shows/cartoons/video games. |

| F bombs are there in games and SOME T.V shows in America. If you think there aren't F bombs in games then you clearly never played any video game ever. |

Idk man Americans gotta watch anime on TV through premium channels or toonami I don't think swearing is uncensored on Japanese television Streaming of course, you can pretty much leave a lot of stuff uncensored

| Well yea there are F bombs in games but only games rated M. And in some shows, those shows are rated R if there's an F bomb. Otherwise it's usually censored. |

it's just art style.
the most suggestive anime you may ever see may look as harmless as naruto, it's up to the artist |

Remember that anime you watch is being streamed or BD release (and if you pirate, you should probably get the bd release) They don't need to censor that stuff because it's not being broadcasted on TV I'm a bit confused about hxh's target audience though |

Shoujo - For girls (has lots of romance, drama, yknow?) Shounen - For guys (has lots of violence, drama, yknow?) Seinen - For grown men (ohgodhowdoiputthis really cute things) Josei - For grown women (haven't really checked this out yet) Ecch1 - (H3nt@1, but without the h3nt@1) |

most anime is made for a teen audience in japan also from what i've seen it is very rare for someone in an anime to drop a cuss (other than damn) unless the anime is obviously for a mature audience

@gift
Hxh's target audience is confusing. It seems like it's for like 10 y/o's, but the content I see is meant for like 15. |
