I asked about this via ROBLOX Support email, and they said it was a good idea and that I should post it here, so here we are:
I'd like to suggest something to improve your moderation and even save your employees time: a game approval system. Moderators should be able to "approve" a game that's of a high standard - for example, my game, the ROBLOX Donation Center. Users should not be able to report approved games, however, they at some point, could lose their quality or even be abused. For this, there should be regular check-ups by the mods - for example, every six months or a year. This would save your moderators' time by not having to deal with unnecessary situations, like what recently happened to my perfectly fine game. |

Lbr the mods are a bit too lazy for this
I mean, they don't even check this subforum (or other subforums except that one time in OT)
But yep I still support this. |

"a game that's of a high standard - for example, my game, the ROBLOX Donation Center."
That wasn't subtle at all. |

| @ShiftedGears It should be noted that whenever Roblox sends a reply telling you to post what you already just sent them on the forum, it means they plan to ignore what you sent them, and then ignore the forum post they asked you to make. Their intentions are pretty clear by the context of their reply. Why ask someone to essentially resend something you've just sent them? It's because they want our feedback submittd here rather than via the approach you took initially. Furthermore, it's so that they can more easily deal with feedback. They're not polite enough to tell you that in the email because they prefer to give you false hope. Not to be a stick in the mud, but this very forum thread will likely not be seen by forum moderators. It might just be that they're too understaffed to look at every post. It might also be that they simply ignore certain threads based on set parameters. For example, they might ignore threads that mention fog or skyboxes. So many possibilities. |
