If it was inserted by a script and it is a car, use car:MakeJoints() on it after the model has been put in its parent object.

Is the car made with weld objects or with surface welds (inlet/outlet, glue, etc)?

Its the surface of the part, you can check by looking at the parts properties(if you don't know what welds look like).

You can use MakeJoints(), but I do not recommend you to do that. I highly suggest you use crazyman32's weld script, he wrote it perfect and basically summed it up, insert a script in the car and make the source this: function weld() local parts,last = {} local function scan(parent) for _,v in pairs(parent:GetChildren()) do if (v:IsA("BasePart")) then if (last) then local w = Instance.new("Weld") w.Name = ("%s_Weld"):format(v.Name) w.Part0,w.Part1 = last,v w.C0 = last.CFrame:inverse() w.C1 = v.CFrame:inverse() w.Parent = last end last = v table.insert(parts,v) end scan(v) end end scan(script.Parent) for _,v in pairs(parts) do v.Anchored = false end end
weld() script:Remove()

Just MakeJoints if they are connected by welded/stud-inlet/etc. surfaces

It stayed together in a way, the main part is in a sphere and its sort of trying to escape.
