I could only buy one character out of the DLC. That person was Ryu. Ryus is the most unique character in smash and has BA moves. I cant wait to fully master him.

So does Luigi, and Sheik, and Mario. And even when they can't true combo, most of their moves frame trap into themselves and they can use that to kill. If we count that then we've got ZSS who is downright scary in that aspect because of her uairs into up b. |

so what you're saying is that they have true combos, yet don't have true combos?

I should've made that clearer. What I meant is that even in a situation where they can't true combo (i.e.: Sheik dthrows but opponent is at very high percent (common occurence for sheik since she lacks reliable kill moves)) their aerials (or rather all of their moves) are so fast that they can frame trap into themselves, or even worse, into a kill move (in sheik and luigi's case). |

| every move in the game has hitstun, which can combo. ryu's moves prevent the opponent from DIing. no other character can do the same. |

I've personally mastered Falco and find that the only character you can't counter with Falco is either Ryu or Yoshi, and Olimar if you're not careful.

There's no difference between true combos and combos. They're called true combos because it's common for people to mistake combo and strings, as well as the rarity of true combos in games past Brawl.
Hitting an opponent with a string of attacks in which they can do something between attacks is called that, a string. |

lol, where did come up with that? the difference is that with a true combo, the opponent cannot DI out of an attack, leaving them open to further strings. |

Uuh, I don't know where YOU came up with your own definition for what a combo is, man. A combo is just an sequence of attacks you can't avoid if the first attack hits (Ken Combo), a true combo is the same thing. If your opponent can DI out of it, it means it was only inescapable because they DIed like crap, in which case, just about anyone can true combo. If your opponent can't DI out of it, it's a combo. If they can and know what DI is then it'll have to be a stirng. |
