So I heard about this Steam Refunds thing, and I lol'd a bit. Thinking it wasn't going to work. Couple days later, I decided I didn't want GTA V, so I tried out this little refund system. I expected Valve to go be Valve and make me wait 69 light years for an automated reply, but the refund request was sent straight away, and I was quite impressed.
I expected the reply and verdict on my refund to be at least a few weeks, again, predicting that Valve would be Valve. And I'm literally gobsmacked at the minute.
>Sends refund request at 14:50pm. >Valve refunds me at 15:59pm.
I don't know what Valve has done to drastically change their customer support like that, but I guess GabeN has just done another miracle.

Games that were bought under 2 weeks ago and you've played under 2 hours of are refunded automatically.
It can take a few days if you bought it over 2 weeks ago or have played over 2 hours (though in most cases it's just an automatic deny) |

System aint perfect, but your refund was accepted automaticallly.
Probably just takes time to move funds around and be sure you're not abusing the system. |

| I didn't want Sonic Generations anymore, as I had it on the PS3. I sent a refund request. It took them one hour to give me the refund. I got the money on the next day. |
