I have done it a couple of times. It's fun. :p
However, I want to find out how to stop the sleep paralysis part. That scary. |

you do realize theres an easier way than to just not move for like 20 minutes.
just put a couple circles on the base of your thumb. In the dream, just look at your thumbs. No circle, no rules of physics. |

I don't know if I actually have taken control of my dreams.
For what I can see, a Lucid Dream is a thought you have when you are in bed but not asleep. So it wouldn't be anything abnormal, it's just a thought. |

| Actually, Lucid dreaming is when you are asleep, but you gain control. If you suddenly wake up, there are chances that you will undergo one of the main problems with lucid dreaming- sleep paralysis. Just what I've noticed. |

| I usually sleep, lay in bed, wake up without realizing I've just woken up, and change the storyline of my dream. |

| Sleep Paralysis is pretty much a miscommunication between your mind and your body. Your body thinks that you are still asleep, so your body is still put into a state of paralysis. However, you are really awake, so your brain goes kind of crazy and gives you hallucinations and stuff. |

I can do something...better. It's pretty much exactly like lucid dreaming, except you're awake. Step one: lie down in your bed or anywhere comfortable. Step two: DONT MOVE AT ALL or you'll have to start over. Step three: relax like you're trying to fall asleep, but keep your mind awake. Step four: Again, even if you have an itch or something, don't move at all. Even a small finger twitch will make you snap back to reality. Step five: Clear your mind. Focus on only one thing: splitting from your body. Do this for about fifteen minutes. Step six: You'll feel a tension, then that's when you split from your own body. It sounds absurd, but it works. It's like a dream, literally.
Fair warning, though. When you 'wake up', it feels rather terrifying. You are lying there, it feels like you can't move or breathe and it also feels like there's someone in the room with you. I recommend having a friend over the first time you try this. |

Seriously guys?
There is MUCH easier way to lucid dream
And best of all: NO SLEEP PARALYSIS.
All you need to do is to DRAW CIRCLES IN MARKER ON THE BASE OF YOUR THUMB
LOOK AT THE THUMBS IN YOUR DREAM
IF THE CIRCLES ARENT THERE YOURE DREAMING, AND YOU CAN TAKE CONTROL
HOWEVER YOU MIGHT IMMEDIATELY WAKE UP THE FIRST FEW TIMES

Englandish, that's pretty normal, actually.
Its called a hypnic jerk and happens whenever your hearts slows down too fast and your brain thinks youre dying, so it sends a jumpstart of sorts to keep you alive. |

Sleep Paralysis is yucky. Never had it myself though.
Do share how it feels. ...
...if you don't mind. ...if you do... then don't.
....Cough. |

@crs you must've either -moved, even if it was just a tiny bit -had too much stuff on your mind -or someone interrupted you.
Or it's just that you're one of the people that it just doesn't work on. |

I've never "Lucid Dreamed" ...until recently in my life.
It's kinda worrying me a bit, to be honest. But recently I've been having up to one/two lucid dreams a night, why? I don't really know. Weird thing, I've never had "Sleep Paralysis" in my life, never. |
