Also,if this goes to a vote on the house floor,I will use all my power to get all nays,if it already isn't full of them,to make sure this does not happen, and I'm pretty sure that's something both Republicans and Democrats can agree on. - House Majority Whip [D] |

| I don't see anything against it, they do it without using special team tools such as tools given to their departments, they use their own money to buy weapons to do it, so therefor they do it technically without abusing their tools, if they serve their time I don't see anything wrong with them doing it. |

| Yes because sometimes workers just like to hang around and take a break its wrong that some use it for criminal acts but they should still be able to its what gives us jobs anyway |

No.
This applies to anyone else who is also in a position to enforce and/or create the law. To those who say yes - Police officers can commit crimes IRL when off-duty, but it doesn't mean they can't be prosecuted. And whenever they do get caught, they lose their badge.
The same happens for anyone else who breaks the law and can enforce it. For instance, Congressmen can't commit crimes, or they can be impeached. The Federal and Supreme Court Judges can't either. Even the President can't.
Constitutionally, no one is above the law. That includes our police offices - including when off duty. But no law is above the people either. Article V of the Constitution states we can amend or create laws.
Nonetheless, if an office is caught violating law, he should have his badge stripped. |

| No. If you think about it, they are doing a form of treason, they are betraying their agency and country by doing illegal acts. |
