There are 4 digits, and each digit has 10 possibilities: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9
It's hard to explain, but, for 2 digits, there are 10 x 10 = 100 possibilities.
0,1 0,2 0,3 0,4 0,5 0,6 0,7 0,8 0,9 1,1 etc
For 3 digits, there are 10 x 10 x 10 = 1,000 possibilities.
0, 0, 1 0, 0, 2 0, 0, 3 0, 0, 4 etc
For 4 digits, there are 10 x 10 x 10 x 10 = 10,000 possibilities.
Sorry it's kind of hard to understand how probabilities work. |
