I have a few classic books. I really like their themes and the way their stories are played out.
Titus Andronicus ( Shakespearean play, classic, vengeance, violent, nudity )
Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde ( detective novel, classic, Victorian England, follows a character that moves around story but isn't the protagonist )
The Lord of the Flies ( violence, classic, boys trapped on island, WW2 ) |

Sherlock Holmes stories To Kill a Mockingbird Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark with the original illustrations. The art is amazing and creepy in it's own right. |

| To Kill a Mockingbird is a book worth reading. It's about racial issues and follows a lawyer and his children. |

| The Godfather series, start with "The Godfather" then read Mario Puzo's "the Sicilian", then read "The Godfather's Return" and "The Godfather's revenge" by Mark Winegardener. They're good books with lots of detail, and depending on how often you read may take a whole summer to read. |

| Lord of the Flies has excellent symbolism. The name itself is a symbol ( Lord of Flies translate to the Hebrew name of the devil, Beelzebub ). |
