This thread is for members of the SWRP group. If you are not part of the group, feel free to read on, but this is concerning SW stuff.
So guys, as you know, I attempted to write a Terrorly fic a while back, and though it was going alright, I kinda let it die. I'm once again trying to write a fic, but this one will be a bit more similar to ECAS. By similar, I mean its based around a single group in the Republic. The difference is that instead of a regiment, it's a commando squad getting the spotlight. In the story, other legions, both canon and fiction one's (fiction as in made by the members of SWRP), will be referenced. However, the story's plot will focus mainly around said squad.
As most know, commando squads usually consisted of four troops, and sometimes contained a advisory officer and a designated LAAT pilot. These are the main characters of the story
RC-1112 "Wraith": The leader of the self-named Fallout Squad, 1112's leadership skills rival that of 1138's, the leader of Delta Squad. Showing an aptitude for decisive thinking, 1112 has had to make more than one major call in clutch situations. 1112 also takes pride in the fact that his squad currently holds the record for most time in the flash simulation chamber without a single mistake.
RC-1145 "Data": Known as a fantastic slicer, 1145 was never considered on the same level as Delta member 1140. However, 1145's skill ranges into more than just slicing. He is consistently building his own personal gadgets, most of them only good for one use. Using the knowledge he gains from operations and the information he can slice from terminals in home bases, he adapts his gear personally to be ready for any task.
RC-1168 "Slugger": The most physical of the squad, RC-1168 is one of the most feared commandos when it comes to the "Kill House", right along with 1138 and 1107. His physicality partially comes from a genetic mutation that occurred in his single pod, causing him to be slightly larger than his brothers. This also led to him having to receive custom made armor. The most at home with heavy weapons, 1168 is usually the one to carry and use the EWHB-12 heavy repeating blaster when needed.
RC-1190 "Dragoon": 1190 is Fallout Squad's demolitions expert, along with the groups most strict rule follower. Though he would often follow 1112's orders by the letter, he often butted heads with him after missions because of 1112's unorthodox methods. This close-mindedness would cause 1190 to be the most likely of the group to be incapacitated.
CT-2348: His name never being known to the squad, this soldier was the group's adviser. The middle man for giving their orders, he rarely had face-to-face contact with the squad, instead giving his orders on-site via a hologram.
CT-4444 "Bug": 4444 was the pilot most frequently used when Fallout Squad needed air support or transportation. A comedian, he'd often try to start up joking conversations with the squad while transporting them, with 1190 typically shutting him down.
Jedi Knight Camral Vixa: This Jedi would first encounter the squad on Geonosis, during a raid on a droid factory. Though never working with the squad in the way Etain did with Omega Squad, Vixa does encounter the group several more times, often giving assistance to them when needed.
In the story, there will be frequent cameos of other groups. Here is a list of them:
-Delta Squad -Omega Squad -Kal Skirata's Null ARCs -Alpha Class ARCs -501st Legion -41st Elite Corps -91st Reconnaissance Division
If you are interested in having one of your legions/battalions cameo, say so below. If you are interested in being a co-writer or an editor, I'm looking for some. Thanks, and I welcome your support! |
