Consider getting a GTX 980, the price has lowered to 499$ (US) with the announcement of the new GTX 980ti.
The reason I say this is because of the 970 only allocating 3.5GB vram rather than 4GB as advertised, and if the 0.5GB partition is accessed during gameplay it may cause frame lag.
That being said, I own a GTX 970 and personally have not had this happen to me, so do what you want. |
