CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 3.2 Quad-Core - very good gaming CPU for very good price.
Motherboard: ASROCK H97 PRO4 ATX LGA1150 - pretty standard motherboard for a nice dollar value. Had all the ports I needed and looks pretty nice as well.
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X (2x4GB) DDR3-1600 - nice looking RAM with a sturdy build a red finish to it. Also pretty standard but performs well.
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 7200 RPM - instead of getting an SSD I opted only for an HDD to save some money and as for right now it performs pretty quick for me <20s boot times. Also comes at a price that is easy on the eyes.
Video Card: EVGA Geforce GTX 960 2GB SSC ATX 2.0 - now this is the part that I spent probably 80% of my time deciding on. I probably spent 90% of that time looking at AMD cards especially the 280x and 290. So how did decide on GTX 960? I'm not really sure either. But if I were to tell you is that they are reliable, cool, and it came with Witcher 3. Even though I know that the 280x is much better as well as the 290 and they may be cheaper. But to go for the upper tier of those cards it becomes too expensive so I decided to go with the cheaper and smaller 2GB GTX 960 but I still love it.
Case: Corsair 300R - I went with the 300R instead of the 200R since it was a bit bigger and easier to work with. It also leaves me room to improve later on if I want to add more things. It looks decent and is sturdy and ultimately it came with a good price.
Power Supply: Seasonic G550W: - I know for this one I could have went with a cheaper and maybe even more wattage PSU. But I decided that I want a quality PSU just for the fact that it has so many of my components at its finger tips and I don't want it's failure to be the reason why so many things go wrong. So, yeah.
Wireless Netowrk Adapter: TP-Link 802.11 b/g/n - had a $10 gift card on amazon so I got this. I also needed one. Works well. Not much else.
Keyboard and Mouse: Cooler Master CM Storm Devastator - I think a lot of people on a budget go with this one. The mouse it ok but the keyboard is good and it comes at a good price so all in all a good deal. Green looks nice too.
I'm on a budget and wondering if this is a good setup. |

i7 is only needed if MLG pro Its a good i5 also so i7 isn't needed because all I would be able to afford is cheapest i7 which isn't rly much of a diff, in fact I think the cheapest i7 (im on a budget noob) is worst the current i5 i have chosen out

| This is around 1k in Canada btw, but we all know that the exchange rates from Canada to USA are awful so its 750 for Americans, consider that decent? |

@Master, This is me building. Well kinda. I'm buying all of the parts from the same place (having it all shipped) and then I build it ;c I can always like replace a part/remove/add one if I wanted. |
