too colorful
still better that the repetitive environments and ugly green/orange tint on the screen from the last two games, though |

Every fallout game has been pretty uncolourful though
Why is this one different? |

i like borderlands, especially without the cel shading
a streamer i've seen plays it without the cel shading and it looks amazing
anyway, the gameplay will remain the same, but I like the colorfulness, so I might actually buy it once it goes sub-15$ |

also, character models in 4 look... off
not sure how to explain |

Welcome to the life of making games.
Unless your Valve.
Then it's automatically god's creation. |

@Clyde
Personally, I feel they're going in the right direction. Like you said, much better than the green tint FO3 had, and orange FO4 had. Still. It looks like it's getting dynamic weather through. |

| i disagree. given fallout's style of "past-future" (the future from the eyes of the 1950's) I'd say it would fit perfectly with fallout, providing the colors are dulled and dusted a tad. |

Actually, it makes sense. The colors during the 1950s were vibrant, it was a colorful time period.
And since this is a futuristic 1950s type setting, it would work |

Every fallout game has had dull colours, that is because the world of the game is dark and depressing despite being a game with pop-culture references and a lot of comedy in it.
It can't be funny and look wacky, the contrast wouldn't be there anymore. |

yeah, but nuclear apocalypse
(in all seriousness, pretty much everything would look better than the excessive green tint of F3)

Live, to change the entire colour scheme of the series would be a dramatic and massive change.
One that would further ruin the bethesda fallout games. |

"Live, to change the entire colour scheme of the series would be a dramatic and massive change."
Because changing something's that's bad is a bad idea, because obviously, changing anything at all = terrible.
"One that would further ruin the bethesda fallout games."
You say that like the first two games are so much better.

Fallout 2 is probably one of the greatest games ever made actually Lord, if you play it I'm sure you'll see why.
It's a funny game in a world with serious themes that's dark and seems realistic. A colourful world would reduce the impact of a world like fallout and make the humour even less so.
In short, colourful game = worse game |

| Fallout 4 is going to be a bethesda game, I'm counting it as already on par with 3, I doubt it's gonna be much better so this is a compliment for now. |

Mhm. Okay.

because that lovely green tint on everything totally helps make everything seem more realistic, amirite
I'm not saying I want it to look as colourful as TF2 or Splatoon.
I just want it to look somewhat realistic. And no, green/yellow tint on everything does not realism make.
Have you looked at reality recently? Yeah, reality generally isn't just a mess of dull browns, greens, and grays.
