| it's supposed to be an analog stick, but to me it just looks like a gray button. can anyone explain? |

It's a really flat analog stick.
It can slide around like one but it's flat and compact so you can fold the DS like any DS |

From what I can tell, it's a little nub that acts like a second stick. I don't think it moves around all too much unlike the normal stick, but it senses inputs.
Remember the circle pad pro? The c-stick is basically a smaller version of the stick of that, and does all the same inputs. |
